Every feature of the ACOG's (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight) mechanical and optical design was designed for use with the M16 family of firearms. This sighting system was engineered for a single purpose; to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions - without relying upon failure-prone batteries.

Although the ACOGs have many features which are very advantageous for military use, they're equally well adapted for sporting and tactical applications. These compact telescopic sights are internally adjustable, with tritium illuminated reticles for use in low-light conditions.

This 4x32 ACOG puts adaptability and flexibility into the operator's hands - a necessary edge when the stakes are high, and the terms of engagement are uncertain.

Whether the days work involves precise long-range shot-placement, room-clearing, close-quarters MOUT engagements or high-stress fast-breaking action - sighting through the 4x32 ACOG is comfortable and intuitive. This ACOG's green chevron reticle is calibrated for flat-top firearms in 5.56/.223 - the unique target reference system offers bullet drop hash marks out to 800 meters, and the ability to gauge hold-offs in windy conditions or moving targets. The 4x magnification offers a respectable FOV and the ability to employ the Bindon Aiming Concept for a both-eyes-open technique that greatly enhances the operator's situational awareness.

Designed for use with standard M16/AR15 firearms with flat-top receivers

The Bindon Aiming Concept was devised by Trijicon's founder, Glyn Bindon. The BAC method of aiming with both eyes open ensures a far superior sense of balance, and a wider field-of-view. Combining these benefits with a magnified Trijicon sight gives you a considerable advantage over your target.

The green chevron reticle is calibrated for flat-top firearms chambered for 5.56/.223 cartridges. The chevron sits atop a long medium-weight post that offers hash-marks for longer-range (800 m) shooting, while the tip of the chevron is designated for pin-point target acquisition at 100 meters. The base-width of the chevron subtends 5.53 MOA - 19.0" at 300 meters.

Trijicon's proprietary tritium/fiber-optic illumination technology provides the chevron with a brilliant green glow. Green illumination allows the human eye to adjust to it quickly and appears bright in low/no-light conditions.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How is this powered?

A: By Fiber Optics.

Q: 2. I cannot get my TA02 elevation adjustment to adjust down. In fact, I'm getting no movement up or down. Windage works. What can I do?.

A: If the elevation adjustment on your Trijicon 4x32 ACOG LED is not moving at all. I would suggest you return as it seems you have an internal mechanical mechanism failure. So there is very little you can do.

Q: 3. is this a ffp or a second focal plane ?

A: It is a second focal plane. The reticle remains the same size no matter what magnification is set at.

Q: 4. Specs say this RCO is designed for 14.5 inch barrel. Will it be ok on a 16 inch barrel? Trajectory of a 5.56 is pretty comparable regardless of barrel length I thought.

A: The problem is one of velocity, not so much barrel length. Generally speaking the longer the barrel the higher the velocity. The difference in barrel length is 1 1/2 inch but remember that rarely does manufacturer specs match up with the actual velocity, too the outside temperature will affect the actual velocity. Unless you are a purist the difference is not worth worrying about. Also, the 223/5.56 is a very flat shooting cartridge, depending on the load and I am assuming a standard 55 grain load. With the right zero the bullet will never be more than 3 high or 3 low out to over 300 yards. If you hand load it would be a very easy matter to adjust the velocity if you felt the need to do so. Regardless of what ammo you shoot there will be variances in velocity unless you have match grade ammo. You can zero this scope wherever you want with the added benefit that it has range finding ability. By the way, the horizontal line is NOT for windage . . . . . the Chevron is used for that. The horizontal line is in Mil's . . . . . read the manual.

Q: 5. Will this scope work well on a 16" 556 rifle?

A: According to Trijicon the Trijicon 1-8x28 VCOG Riflescope (Red Circle-Crosshair MRAD Reticle) BH #TR18X28MRAD • MFR #VC18-C-2400003 is Integrated Picatinny/Weaver Rail Mount

Q: 6. Does this model have bosses?

A: You can mount an RMR on your scope with BH #TRRM35. That is the part number you will find the RMR mount on the B&H website.

Q: 7. Hi there, Is this reticled for 308 or chevron 308?

A: The MFR needs to be contacted for this answer.

Q: 8. What is OD of objective bell? Diameter of AO ring.

A: The Objective Lens Diameter of the Barska 4x32 AO Airgun Riflescope is 32 mm.Manufacturer does not give the spec's for the AO ring. But you can add on 1mm.

Q: 9. Thanks David for getting back to me but what’s MFR?

A: Manufacturer

Q: 10. Will they fit the mod. 43?

A: No they will not fit your model 43 those are for the GL05. These are the only Trijicon sights we have for your model 43. a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1062100-REG/trijicon_gl13_c_600777_glock_42_bright.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1062100-REG/trijicon_gl13_c_600777_glock_42_bright.html/a

I have been using Trijicon ACOGs since the early 1990s and have never been disappointed. I use a quick release and the zero never changes. This one has fiber optics and tritium for illumination so it easy to center and shoot.

Well built tough as nails rifle scope. Super accurate if you know how to use it. This is my 5th one and i plan to purchase more. B&H was super helpful as well.

I've tried many law enforcement and military optics including eotechs with magnifiers, aimpoint CCO's, many different LPVOs etc. but this seems to fit my nitch much better. Being right handed but left eye dominant, this prism style is much easier for my eye to aquire while keeping both eyes open. The extended range capabilities this gives me even out of an 8 barrel with 300blk subsonics is outstanding. When paired with a trijicon RMR or similar micro dot for night vision shooting or CQB, what's not to love. The glass quality and clarity is better than any other optic I've tried. Simply put, you can't beat this.

The only downside is that Trijicon is still quite behind in their production, so there was a fairly long wait for this. Optic is clear and bright. Both day and night reticle visibility is very good. Easy install of course. B&H had a very good price on this. A heads up that this RMR is always on at fixed brightness. Good in a tactical situation but you do need to keep in mind that regular battery replacements should be on your schedule. Highly recommended.

I have a lot of time behind ACOGs overseas. This is a spectacular optic balancing clarity, range, performance and reliability.

Received the optic earlier than the forecasted available date. BH delivered the item within 2 days and the product arrived with no issues. As for the ACOG and rmr combo, the ACOG has excellent glass and I truly enjoyed zeroing the red cross hair. (Downloaded The PDF manuals on trijicons website). The only part I disliked about the combo was the position of the RMR, because to zero the RMR on top of the ACOG I would have to change my sight alignment and lift my head up to see the RMR. Do to the current Unavailability of offset mounts, I was not able to purchase one prior to zeroing the ACOG. Regardless, the combo is great and once an offset mount is available, I will test and zero the RMR.

I put over a 1,000 rounds with this scope in three days and couldn't ask for a more accurate scope. The clarity is great, the illumination works really well for my old eyes, and reticle is accurate for .300 BO. Even the wife and daughter were hitting bullseyes. The only thing I changed was the mount to a Midwest Industries QD mount. I'd buy it again and probably will.

I have this mounted on my brand new DD MK18! My military buddies raved about this scope. When I saw the RMR option, I had to jump on it. The transition between sights will take practice for me to get the hang of because with the red dot I do have to raise my head of a tad, but it isn't a deal breaker. I watched some videos on YouTube if you'd like to do the same. The clarity is perfect and the parallax-free feature is real, providing the capability to shoot with both eyes open on both sights. The chevronis small as to not obstruct your target. Comes ready to mount and shoot.

B&H provided quick, secure shipping and beat any price out there by at least $300. I'm satisfied with the purchase. Thanks B&H!

I've been saving money to purchase this ACOG for a while. There are many video reviews already out there on YouTube. This Trigicon ACOG needs no introduction. It's simply fantastic. It's not perfect, nothing is but it works very well. Very bright and accurate.

I served in the Army for 8 years. During that time I realized that the Trijicon ACOG was an amazing optic for the AR platform rifle. I wanted one for my own rifle for many years but because of the price I was unable to acquire one. After finally deciding to purchase one I researched the far reaches of the internet to find the right model for a decent price. B&H had the best prices I could find & I was a little worried about what I might be getting until it came in. Not only was it exactly what I was looking for, they threw in a handy little clip on light as a free gift which is also very good quality. I recommend the ACOG to any avid shooter that likes to take the long range shots without giving up close range shots as well; & if you are gonna spend the extra money for a quality optic B&H takes a lot of the sting off of the price tag.
