Took a spill (embarrassed) the other day and this lens hood took one for the teem. Otherwise the lens front element would have been damaged 5

I prefer Sony hoods because instead of threading onto the lens they can be clipped on. This means when you’re not using it or want to store the camera it can be clipped on backwards instead of having to unscrew the lens filter, unscrew the lens hood then screw the lens filter back on. This particular lens hood is the exact one that comes with the original 18-135mm emount lens, so it’s a perfect replacement if yours is missing or broken. 5
