If you want to swap out the mount on your CP.3 lens, this ZEISS Interchangeable Lens Mount will allow you to convert your lens to ARRI PL with Cooke /i mount. All materials necessary to swap the mount are included, as is a lens cap to protect your lens after the new mount is installed. While the process of swapping the mount is relatively simple, B&H recommends that for ideal performance and accurate collimation, the mount-swap process be carried out by a certified lens technician.

Note: This mount will only enable the transmission of lens metadata with XD enabled CP.3 lenses

A: No this will not work on the E2 M4 of the Z Cam

A: Zeiss 21-100mm T2.9-3.9 Lightweight Zoom LWZ.3 Lens creates the standard ANSI S35 image circle of 31.1mm. The image circle of and ARRI Alexa Mini is 33.59mm. So unfortunately this lens will not cover that sensor. You will need a full frame lens in order to do this.

Q: 6. I have a zcam f6 with PL or EF mount. Do I understand correctly that the zcam f6 is compatible with a PL mount? Only with the zcam with the EF mount is not compatible. the zcam f6 has a changeable mount. It's not entirely clear to me because the zcam is listed in the incompatible list

A: Correct depending on which unit a end-user can be using due to the protruding rear elements, certain ZCAM EF cameras may not work with the Vazen 50mm lens. PL units should be fine but would double check with manufacture.

Q: 7. what happens if I put this on my R5 with the adapter? any vignetting or will it just be wider than 100mm?

A: If the Meike 100mm T2.1 Super35 Cinema Prime Lens (EF Mount) is mounted on the Canon R5 in full frame mode, there will be vignetting as the lens is designed for Super 35 sized sensors. You can place the Canon R5 in crop mode in the menu as seen here: https://bhpho.to/3TkCU85, in order to crop the sensor to only capture the APS-C portion of the sensor to remove any vignetting.

A: No, we do not have a manual available for how to install the ZEISS Interchangeable Lens Mount for CP.3 21mm T2.9, 25/28/35mm T2.1 (ARRI PL), but ZEISS does have tutorials online.

I bought this lens along with the 50mm and now I'm waiting for the 25mm to be in stock since I like the look so much! The lens is sharp but not clinical like the sigma arts and has a beautiful roll-off from sharp details into the bokeh. Great colors and texture to the image with extremely minimal chromatic aberration (I've only seen it come up with extremely blown out background behind the subject). This is a HUGE difference from the Rokinon DSX which had such bad CA that most back-lit footage was unusable. Only cons to this lens are the weight and the extremely long focus throw if you're not shooting in a controlled set - the focus throw is definitely not ideal for fast paced environments, but still workable. All in all definitely pleased with these guys. 5

This lens and the other DZO lens I own are amazing for the price. They are so much better then my previous SLR Magic micro primes. They function like much expensive cine primes. I use them on my Fuji X-T4 and it's a great match. I would definitely recommend DZO products. 5
