Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with an 80d?

A: I have a 5D Mark 2 which is slightly larger than an 80D, and fits with ample room to spare, but not with the battery grip as that throws the lens mount (on camera) out of alignment with the lens port (on DicaPac). Also, you won't be able to zoom if your lens is telescopic (extends/shrinks when you zoom)

Q: 2. Will this case accept the Electro Voice RE20 mic?

A: The Gator Titan Series Waterproof Case for RODECaster Pro and Two Mics accommodates the size of the Rode Procaster Broadcast-Quality Dynamic Microphone (pictured), which measures ø: 2.09 x L: 8.43". The Electro-Voice RE20 Broadcast Announcer Microphone is slightly larger with measurements of ø: 2.13 x L: 8.54". This is only a slight difference in size, but it is hard to fully guarantee that the RE20 will also fit in this case due to its larger form factor.

Q: 3. This case will fit my sony a7iii with a sigma art 35mm?

A: Yes, it will fit your gear.

Q: 4. Can this fit the rode caster pro II and a shure sm7b microphone together?

Q: 8. Can I use the Canon 16-35 Mark III lens with this bag? Thank you.

A: I used the Tamron 24-70 with no problem I dont think you should have any issues.

Q: 9. Can the pre-cut foam insert be purchased seperately?

A: No, the pre-cut foam insert is not available to purchase separately. However, it may be possible to get a replacement foam insert for an existing case through Gator Cases customer support.

A: It will fit or the DiCAPac Waterproof Case for Mirrorless Cameras will work as well, the lens diameter on the mirrorless case is up to 68mm and the WP-S10 will work for lenses up to 72mm in diameter.

Was what I expected from reading other reviews. Used it in an outdoor pool, only went about 5ft under. Not confident to put my primary camera in it, but was comfortable putting my D7100 and 17-55mm F2.8 lens (No hood) in. The plastic lens was not as bad as I had feared. Happy that it can fit 77mm lenses. Back of the case was clear when viewing the camera's rear screen underwater with a scuba mask. The only thing that was tough was trying to zoom the lens. Also zoom lenses that extend tend to elongate while you handle it underwater. Next time will duct tape the zoom ring in place. The D7100 seemed a tiny bit small in it, even with all 3 supplied pads in use at the bottom of the case. Will fit a FX camera like a D810. Accommodates the built-in flash quite well.

Just as described. I love taking photos with my DSLR but was afraid to ruin my camera on a canoe trip down the river. No worries with the WP-S10 Waterproof Case by DiCaPac. Not only did it keep it safe and dry, if it fell into the river, it would've floated. Luckily that didn't happen!

I used this bag for two seasons of fine art shooting underwater. It made literally thousands of 30-40 second dives from 3-10 foot. Stayed in my hand as a swam around so it often got a huge amount of tugging, yanking and water pressure against it from odd angles. Eventually the seam where the zip lock closure and the side of the bag comes together leaked. The leak was VERY small and what it showed up as was a fog building up inside the bag. NOT a spray of water onto my camera! I have now ordered two more and I noticed that the company seems to have reinforced that junction of side seam & top opening closure on the new ones. I would suggest that you be mindful of putting a lot of pressue on the junction as you load the camera into and out of the bag. I am delighted with the performance value as compared to the pricing. Not all camera functions are easy to get to but the price is RADICALLY less than the full function deep rated hard cases for my camera. Since I do not go below 15 on any of my fine art dives, I don't really need the depth rating anyway. I found this to be an excellent value for the tool it hands me to to do my art underwater.

I purchased this waterproof case to take my Nikon D90 up Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. It kept my camera dry and I got some decent shots. Since the camera was not completely submerged in water, I got water droplets on the lens. Some photos didn't turn out because of that. Also, you have to be sure to hold the lens cover tight to your camera or you will get the case in your shots. Overall very worth it, especially for the price!

This product is watertight, easy to transport, and convenient for travel. I was surprised at the quality of the make, the features and the true watertightness considering that the price is very low. This is not inherently a professional solution by any means, but if you carefully consider what it does have to offer, test out your rig and how to use it under water, and understand its limitations, this is a great product. I do not see a significant image degradation from the plastic front element, however, upon careful and detailed inspection I'm sure there are some defects and basic light changes that occur because this is not crystal or glass and is not made to the standards of a 5-12K underwater housing. Again, understand what you are buying, how you will be using it, and what your expectations are. I believe that this unit, if well cared for, could provide acceptable protection and image quality for professional and amateur use for many trips. Eventually it will probably suffer a tear or other damage that will render it unusable, but it costs under $100. I purchased this for a trip to try out underwater photography while snorkeling and swinging in clear waters and reefs. This is not in any way usable for diving unless its weighted or you balance it with your diving rig. It floats VERY well and will bring you right back up even when diving down while snorkeling. One of the things that was very hard to work around, and is definitely a CON, is that the clear plastic back that allows you to see your LCD screen will stick to your LCD screen and be very hard to see you composition and focus under water. You will nee to find a way to improve this situation before expecting to be able to use this underwater and in heavily glaring settings. Overall this is a great opportunity to try out some underwater photography with good results, or keep you camera dry while shooting in and around water.

I'm a semi-professional photographer, I sometimes get paid for snapping photos, but I shoot mainly as a hobby. People love my work especially the wildlife and nature images I capture. I was interested in expanding my subject matter and underwater seemed like a good direction. The DiCAPac was the option I choose to get my feet wet, just to see what I might find before investing in expensive alternatives. So far I'm very happy with it and it works as described. The only draw back is the extrusion for the lens. It's so long that it gets in the shot when using a normal lens, 28-70mm. I would recommend this waterproof case to anyone wanting to take their DSLR into shallow water.
