The SRc Dual-Channel Slot-Mount ENG Receiver from Lectrosonics consist of two separate receivers built into a single, ultra-compact housing with adapters for video-camera-receiver slots and for stand-alone use. They can be used when paired with a transmitter & microphone (sold separately) in various environments for ENG (Electronic News Gathering), EFP (Electronic Field Productions) and other audio applications.

Each receiver features Digital Hybrid Wireless technology that provides compandor-free audio quality and compatibility with other wireless systems. The RF performance is stable over a wide temperature range, making the receiver perfectly suited in rough environmental conditions.

The front panel has a menu-driven LCD interface and four membrane switches which are used to view and alter settings. In addition, the LCD window displays the pilot-tone indicator, diversity activity, RF level, audio level, and transmitter battery status for both receivers.

Furthermore, a built-in spectrum analyzer scans across the tuning range of the receiver and displays a histogram of RF activity across the band. Areas of RF activity are easily recognizable. The two internal receivers can be operated separately and both have switching, antenna-combining diversity, or in tandem with ratio-diversity reception.

Finally, a variety of output adapters and mounting options are available for camera-slot operation. The receivers are powered from an external 7 to 18 VDC source.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do non servo ta5f connectors work with the lmb transmitter?

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics L-Series LMb Bodypack Wireless Transmitter and all other Lectrosonics transmitters with 5-pin inputs have servo bias inputs that can also be used with other conventional wiring configurations.

Q: 2. It is possible to combine a Lectrosonics L-Series LMb (B1: 537 to 614 MHz) with a UCR 411A?

A: Yes, the LMb transmitter can be used with all Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless receivers including the UCR411a when the compatibility mode for the transmitter and receiver are both set to the "Nu Hybrid" compatibility mode. Lectrosonics notes that if your receiver does not have Nu Hybrid mode, then set the receiver to the "Euro Digital Hybrid Wireless" compatibility mode.

Q: 3. Is this compatible with the HMa plug on? I notice a lot of guys are still using the 411a receiver. Is there a big difference?

A: Yes, the LR receiver is compatible with the HMa plug-on transmitter. B&H # LEHMAA1 is the version for this particular receiver's frequency band (A1: 470 to 537 MHz). There are some differences in features between the two receivers such as a wider 75 MHz tuning bandwidth for the LR vs a 25.6 MHz tuning bandwidth for the 411a.

Q: 4. Can you use this with a SRa receiver

A: So long as your SRa receiver has the same frequency ranges as the LMb transmitter, the LMb transmitter will work with an SRa receiver.

Q: 5. Does this wireless kit have the ability to search automatically for available transmission frequencies, like the SONY UWP-D11? From what I understand the Sony kit will automatically select a clear signal, even if for example the transmitter is on the subject, away from the receiver.

A: Short answer: YES! It's called Smart Tune in the setup menu. The receiver does a scan of the entire tuning range and then suggests a choice which you can accept with a button push.

Q: 6. Is it compatible with Sennheiser G4 transmitter?

A: No it is not. Do not mix and match brands.

Q: 7. What is the effective range of the LMB B1 Transmitter? By range I mean distance between transmitter and receiver not frequency range.

A: The operating distance for the Lectrosonics LMb Bodypack Wireless Transmitter and a compatible wireless receiver is approximately 328 feet line of sight.

Q: 8. Where can I find a holder for my Sony camera for this receiver?

A: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1095137-REG/lectrosonics_lrshoe_receiver_mount_kit.html/overview?sts=pi&pim=Y

Q: 9. Does this Transmitter have IFB mode to use as an IFB Transmitter?

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics L Series LT Bodypack Wireless Transmitter does have an IFB mode option in the compatibility settings.

Q: 10. Is there a battery eliminator made for this?

A: No,at this time there are no battery eliminators or alternate powering options available for the LMb transmitter.

These wireless microphones are great. They offer really good audio quality and are pretty easy to use. We have used similar microphones in the past but upgraded to this model since it was time for an upgrade.

I wanted something that was affordable without taking a hard cut in quality. I'm very happy with these. They do what a lav system is supposed to do.

I used them in the field for three different projects, then found a happy surprise in editing. While sound mixing the interviews, I actually had to take a moment and try to figure out which mic was the lav, and which was the boom... Of course after listening closely, it's possible to figure out, but talk about a sound mixer's dream, when the overall tone and feel of the lav turns out so similar to the boom... (which in these cases was a Rode NTG-3.)

Most of my takes were clean. I noticed some transmitter pops while shooting multiple subjects walking down the hallway interior of an old motel. Maybe something in the walls, who knows.

Whatever - overall, very pleased. Especially for that price tag!

Things to NOTE: You may also need to purchase a stereo 1/8" to DUAL XLR cable. The transmitter only outputs in stereo 1/8", using L and R as ch1 and ch2, however the kit only includes a 1/8" to single XLR cable (which if used, would consolidate both lavs to one channel). BAD! (Make sense?)

Go ahead and compare this to a Sony, it's identical.

I've been using Sony Microphones for over 30 years. I took the chance on this because as a news reporter having the ability to record on two channels is great. I have the lav on one channel and the handheld on the other. This was a second lav purchase so I can mic two. They work great.

These mics work and sound great! And so much less expensive than some other brands. The more expensive brands were not an option for my budget, so this was a great buy! Love 'em.

These are well built (heavy) and work very well. I used them to record several presentations that my client needed to put online due to the virus lockdown. Easy to use, great quality, and great price considering this is a two channel device. I was considering Sennheiser but I chatted with a B&H expert who recommended these because of the 2 channel and said they had many satisfied customers. So I got these and the hand held mic for less money and better suited for what I was trying to do, thanks to B&H!

I purchased this recently. It's a great product i can say. voice recording very clearly. we can record voice from decent amount of distance. Easy to use. i used for couple of weddings. it's came great.
I definitely recommend this product. only one small concern is, battery case is little delicate. need to be careful while placing or removing the batteries.

These are built with quality materials. Comparable to the well-known name brand at 20%+ less the cost. Unless you're made of money and insist on having the recognizable brand, these are perfect for you.

I've used Sennheiser wireless mics for years for a lot of my productions in the past 25 years. I would highly recommend these for anyone that is on the go and needs good reliability!
