The tan B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Standard Sens, with Detachable LEMO 3-Pin Connector for Shure Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a very small lav microphone measuring one tenth of an inch in diameter with changeable protective caps, which provide moisture resistance and color options. The mic can be used to capture audio for theater, broadcast, churches, and general lavalier applications.

Built with a low handling noise and rugged construction, the B6 lavalier microphone can be easily hidden in hair or on costumes, or taped to a performer's face. The aramid cable and ultra-thin diaphragm deliver a natural sound while its tiny size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection. The B6's cable terminates to a LEMO 3-pin connector for direct connection to a Shure UR1MLEMO3 wireless bodypack transmitter.

Additionally, swappable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or match other microphones. The B6 microphone is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps. These caps can be quickly removed for cleaning or replacement.

Looks great when you want to see it, virtually disappears when you don't. The B6 is easily hidden in hair or on costumes, with five colors to match clothing, hair, and skin tones. Use a felt tip marker to color the white caps for near-perfect concealability. Never suffer the hassle and degraded sound quality of under-clothing miking again.

The B6 is resistant to makeup, sweat, and moisture when used with the supplied protective caps, and works well in hair or on the body. The protective caps are easily removed for cleaning or replacement, and the aramid-reinforced cable gives it world-class survivability.

The B6 provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 140 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable and thin diaphragm combine to offer low handling noise. The flat frequency response accurately captures voice or instruments, and the small size makes the B6 easy to position for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

Changeable protective caps let you shape the frequency response for different situations or to match other microphones. Versions are available for different speaking or singing styles, with high overload capability for recording instruments.

Standard, for most uses.

Q: 1. I have bought this mic and when plugged into my Sennheiser EW-G3 transmitter I get no signal at all, is there a setting I need to change? The transmitter works with ME-2 Mic, recording to a Zoom H6. Thank

A: Hi. This mic is great but comes with some strange and quite dealbreaking features. I sent my first one back due to a high pulsating noise that it created along with very low input volume. Got a new one and same thing. I'm paring it with a Sennheiser G3 unit and a zoom H6 as well and just by chance I notised that I had perfect sound when pulling the plug out of the G3 transmitter a millimiter or so. If you stick it all the way in, it wont work. Obviously this is crap and I'm only using it when I have a subject that I know will be pretty much completely still and I always have to fibble around with it for a while but then again, It produces greeeeat sound for a Lav. /Marcus

Q: 2. Can this be used with cellphones? like, can I connect it to the Note 9 for example and use it and microphone for vlogging?

A: No it cannot be connected directly into a cellphone. The voltage requirement is greater than a cellphone can supply: Power Requirements: +3 to +10 V

Q: 3. Will this work seamlessly with the Sony UWP-V1 wireless system, which uses the UTX-B2V Beltpack Transmitter?

A: Yes, the Sanken COS-11D Omni Lavalier Microphone is compatible for use with the transmitter included with the Sony UWP-V1 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System.

Q: 4. Is there a converter from lemo to 3.5mm ?

A: No, B&H does not offer an adapter to convert the 3-pin LEMO connector to 3.5mm. As another option, you may want to consider using the Microdot version of the Shure TwinPlex TL48 which is the Shure TwinPlex TL48 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone - Microdot, Tan (B&H # SHTL48TOMDOT). This would allow you to use the TL48 mic with a variety of Microdot adapters to enable compatibility with different wireless microphone transmitters. For 3.5mm, you could use the Deity Microphones DA35 Microdot to Locking 3.5mm Adapter - Black (B&H # DEDA35) and for 3-pin LEMO, you can use the Deity Microphones DA3L Microdot to 3-Pin LEMO Adapter (B&H # DEKSMDTDA3L).

Q: 5. Has anyone used this microphone in combination with the Tascam DR-10L's? I am looking to upgrade the microphones provided and this looks like it could be a good option.

A: I have not used this Tascam model with the Sanken COS 11D but have used it with the Tascam DR-40 and other professional recorders. It's a great sounding lav mic and easy to hide.

Q: 6. Has anyone used it with the new RODE Wireless Go system? I am wondering if it would work and if there would be any loss in the quality of the sound compared with the Sennheiser systems...

A: You can use a COS11-D with the Rode Wireless Go system, but you will need a version of the mic with a standard non-locking 3.5mm TRS connector, as the transmitter for the Wireless Go does not use the same locking connector that Sennheiser and the other Rode wireless systems such as the Filmmaker Kit require. The Wireless Go is designed with standard 3.5mm connectors on the transmitter's mic input and receiver output, and intended to be very easy to use for general consumers.

Q: 7. Will this shure TwinPlex TL48 work with rodelink?

A: Yes, the Shure TwinPlex TL48 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone can be used with a RodeLink transmitter, but a Microdot adapter such as the Deity Microphones DA35 Microdot to Locking 3.5mm Adapter - Black (B&H # DEDA35) is needed to enable compatibility

Q: 8. whenever i am using this tl45,the ambience noise is too much so what can i do to reduce the feedback or howling that is producing?

A: Do not stand in front of the speaker while the miocrophone is live. It also sounds as if the mic gain may be too high. Try lowering it so the backgrounf noise fade away and you are left with the louder speaking voice.

Q: 9. does this have an adaptor for a 4 pin AT receiver?

A: I do not have an adapter but here is the mic with the 4 pin hardwired. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1200538-REG/sanken_san_11danbkh4at_cos_11d_omnidirectional_lavalier_microphone.html

Q: 10. Will this mic work on Sony and Sennheiser packs?

A: No it will not. If you have a Sony wireless system then you have to get the COS 11D that says for Sony. The same is true for Sennheiser if you have a Sennheiser system you have to get the one that says for Sennheiser. The two are wired differently. The Sanken is an fantastic lav so make sure you get the right one.
