Explore the wonders of the world through the magic of photography with the black Medium Lynx 55 SlingPack for DSLR and 15" Laptop from Ruggard. The SlingPack is designed to store, protect, and transport a DSLR with an attached 200mm lens, extra lenses, a flash, and related accessories. Padded touch-fastening dividers make organizing gear fast and easy. Use the upper zippered compartment with interior pockets for personal items, or for additional equipment. By removing the touch-fastening base of this compartment, the SlingPack can be reconfigured for other uses. This is also a good place for storing the included rain cover.

Toward the rear of the SlingPack is a padded, zippered compartment for an up to 15" laptop or tablet. Zippered openings allow left, right, and front access to gear. Keep items requiring ready access, such as a wallet, phone, or keys in either of the side pockets, which have touch-fastening flap closure. Glove wearers will appreciate the large metal zipper pullers. And the bottom front of the pack has a pullout pouch for supporting the base of a compact tripod, which is complemented by an adjustable strap with a quick release buckle above for the tripod's midsection.

Carry your SlingPack with the top strap handle, rear trolley strap, or wear with the padded, adjustable shoulder harness. Convert to left or right sling carry by simply unbuckling the bottom of either shoulder strap and connecting it to the opposite side. The unneeded strap is then hidden behind the padded back panel. And for added stability and comfort, the SlingPack features an adjustable, padded waist belt with a quick release buckle. Heavy-duty nylon construction with generous padding ensures strength and durability. A grommet located on the front of the SlingPack may be used for attaching a bicycle light or other item. With sleek lines and useful features, the SlingPack is both stylish and functional.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will my Nikon D750 with a 24-70mm f2.8 lens fit?

A: Certainly will.

Q: 2. Trolley Sleeve?

A: Yes, the Ruggard Lynx 55 SlingPack for DSLR and 15" Laptop (Black, Medium) has a top handle and rear trolley strap.

Q: 3. Can I fit a Nikon Z9 with 500 PF attached plus Z100-400?

A: The Nikon Z9 with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens and lens adapter will not fit in the Ruggard Lynx 45 SlingPack for DSLR and 13" Laptop (Black, Small). You would need a much larger backpack for that.

Q: 4. Will a Nikon Coolpix P1000 fit in this bag?

A: Nikon COOLPIX P1000 Digital Camera will be a tight fit in the top compartment but will easily fit in the bottom compartment in the Ruggard Lynx 75 SlingPack for DSLR and 17" Laptop.

Q: 5. Can this back pack fit a 13 inch laptop, a 11.5 inch tall binder, 1 lens and 1 canon t6 rebel?

A: When using the Ruggard Lynx 45 SlingPack for DSLR and 13" Laptop, a 13 inch laptop that is not too thick will fit, but not for a 11.5 binder, (it is too thick).

Q: 6. I noted yes for fit of 80D with 14-135 lens in 75 Sling PackWill it also fit in 65 model Ruggqrd Sling bag? And, what are the bag weights for each model?

A: I bought the model 65. It is more than enough to fit 80D with 70-200mmm lens attached.

Q: 7. Will it fit a camera with an attached battery grip?

A: Depending on the brand/model of your camera and battery grip, the camera/grip combination may fit inside the Ruggard Lynx 75 SlingPack, though it may be a snug fit. The width of the case is 6.5 inches, so I would recommend measuring the height of your camera with your battery grip to see if the dimensions are shorter than the 6.5 inches indicated above. If you do purchase the case and it does not fit, do note that you would have 30 days from the date of purchase to return the case for an exchange or refund following the terms and conditions on the Return Policy link listed on the bottom of our website.

Q: 8. Can the internal compartment fit a Mavic inside with some accessories?

A: I need to know what a Mavic is (?). I bought the Lynx 45 SlingPack to take my camera equipment on a European trip last summer. I was able to carry my Canon SLR body, a 70-300 zoom, a 24-105 zoom, battery pack, SONY Cyber Shot point-and-shoot, along with my laptop and power cords. Worked well as a carry-on but I still needed smaller camera bag for day trips.

Q: 9. Can i put my HP Omen 17 inch laptop in this bag?

A: The Laptop pocket should not have an issue holding a HP 17" Omen Laptop

Q: 10. How can the 45 hold a 200mm lens and camera when the 75 also rated as holding 200mm lens? How is the 45 holding a camera with attached grip?

A: I purchased the 75 and not the 45, so I really cannot answer your questions; however, I believe that there are different manufacturers' types/sizes of 200mm lens, as well as the attached grips, so it all depends. Good Luck....

I purchased the Ruggard Lynx 55 Sling Pack for DSLR and 15" Laptop for many different uses. For hiking and shooting nature photography it is nice since you can swing it around without taking it off and access your camera. It is a little large for backpacking in my opinion so I have ordered the 45 model. The built in trolly strap is handy when you need to carry gear in to your hotel room or in other travel situations. My other use if for art shows. I needed something tough to hang from my grid system so I could access point of sale supplies (Ipad, stickers, calculator, packaging, battery backups, tools, etc.) This works well for that purpose as well since you can access the inside from three sides and the laptop pocket is perfect for the Ipad as well as anything you need to keep flat like literature or signage. On the back of the pack there is an odd padding system intended to make the pack comfortable when wearing it. Just so happens that it has space behind and through it which helps you to hang the bag. Moveable padded dividers also make this versatile. I bought some Velcro that sticks to itself and added it to tie sections together.

Another great product that was really the only one that met my use needs. Front access to camera equipment, separate top compartment for everyday items and instant side access to a fully ready camera. The price structure for Ruggard's items is always very good and was again on this one.

I always seem to spend an inordinate amount of time looking at other manufacturers but end up coming back to Ruggard. Great product design and quality as well as great value for the price.

I do a lot of camera will travel by grabbing and going and the Ruggard Lynx 55 is a bag that I could use to store all my photo gear. I shoot 2 bodies, a 150mm to 600 Sigma, a Canon 70 to 200, a 180mm macro lens with a handful of other lenses. Then I have accessories that need a bag by itself.. I really like that you can unzip the front laptop pocket all the way. I purchased others and the odd way to get to stuff made zero sense but this has so many entry's it makes it perfect without having to unpacking your camera bag to get to 1 lens. When filled it has so much room the weight was staggering because I could put so much in this back pack. This as an actual backpack and has IPAD or Laptop section as well. If you were traveling in an airport it will hold more than just Camera Gear. This bag has a tripod strap system, so many pockets to get to your gear, laptop with heavy padding, plenty of velcro dividers, outside pockets and places to hang things from. I live in the Pacific Northwest and a rain cover is included and this bag is rain resistant. Perfect for pros to a an intermediate photographer buying more equipment and a bag to grow into. I haven't purchased such a well designed product in a long time. Literally everything about this backpack is thoughtfully engineered for maximum capacity, versatility, and comfort. I love the compartment arrangement, the side openings for quick camera access, and the comfortable straps. Not to mention the tripod sling and laptop sleeve. It's a backpack you will not mind wearing all day, and carries all you need for the photo shoot.

Just what I was looking for when I don't need everything for a quick shoot. Plenty of space for my R5 with battery grip and 70-200 2.8 RF lens attached. A smaller lens for group shots, 2 chargers, 14 in laptop and cords etc.

I like the organization and access for this bag. I carry 2 GoPros and accessories as well as a DSLSR Camera and a couple of lens. Has room for my MacBook Pro as well.

I purchased this pack to serve as a day pack and short hike pack, carrying a large DSLR body and a couple of lenses with accessories. Works perfectly and is enjoyable not to lug my large backpack for its intended purpose. The top compartment is perfect for a variety of items--light jacket, filters, batteries, etc. Construction is good and the pack looks great.

At first, I wasn't sure whether I should get it as it was a new release and I didn't really know if it had its downsides, regardless, I took a chance as I had a 30 day trip to Nicaragua coming up and had to buy a bag for my DSLR. While I don't have the most extensive setup, I definitely have an idea of what it can hold. I have my D7100 with a Tokina 12-28, an 18-55, and the charger of my DSLR, laptop, and speaker all in there with room to fit a another small lens (like a 50mm). That's not even including the daypack above. I would usually take essentials such as hand sanitizer, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, water bottle (which keeps it's cool in the compartment), and glasses with space for more. If you really wanted to you can fit a 70-200 in there with 2 other lenses comfortably in there. The only complaint I have with it is that my backpack came with a deformation on its back side where one of the comfort pads sticks out making it seem lopsided, I think it's only mine though. Anyways, I would highly recommend this backpack to anyone in need of a budget, high quality backpack with a normal setup. The tripod holder is also very nifty.
