Styled in a high-gloss finish, the Iberia Series Dolce from Cordoba is a 7/8-size, nylon-string classical guitar with a solid, Canadian Cedar top, and mahogany back and sides. Its body is constructed utilizing traditional Spanish fan bracing, and features aesthetic touches such as Indian rosewood binding and an inlaid wood mosaic rosette around the soundhole.

The neck, measuring 24.8” in scale, is constructed out of mahogany and sports a rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets, and mother-of-pearl side dot marker inlays at the fifth, seventh, and ninth frets for easier visual orientation. A two-way adjustable truss rod is also provided. An Indian rosewood bridge anchors the strings to the body, while a set of Cordoba gold tuning machines with pearl buttons secure the strings at the headstock, providing a gear ratio of 14:1, and a string roller spacing of 35mm.

With features such as these packed into a more compact size, the Dolce is a suitable choice for players who seek an instrument only slightly smaller than a standard classical guitar.

A: This is a fully manual turntable, so the tone arm will not raise at the end of an album side.

Q: 7. What is fully manual?

A: The TD 1600 is a purely manual turntable. When a record is to be played, the motor is started by selecting the speed, the tonearm lift is up, the tonearm is manually guided out of its rest via the inlet groove and lowered with the lift. When the record side has been played or at any other place, the arm must be manually raised with the lift and returned to the rest. Pressing the button “0” switches off motor and the platter stops turning.

A: The total length of the strap is 48 -the wide part of the strap is about 18 and the non-slip center is 10 . I have used these straps for over 20yrs and they are great for heavy bodies. They are well worth the price.

What a deal...$249 here and $649 on Amazon! Wow! Easy set up - the only thing that I messed up initially was having the preamp turned on - this caused high distortion but that went away when I turned the preamp off - duh! Super looking gloss white finish. Manual tonearm, but allows for low profile.. 5

What a beautiful statement this Thorens turntable makes in the gloss white color! Also, it sounds fantastic. This was an upgrade for me from a turntable that has no preamp. With this model’s built in preamp, my listening experience has been dramatically elevated. As an added bonus, the white matches our entertainment center perfectly. It is so unique. I have never seen a white turntable. I had to call BH customer service due to an issue with the website trying to charge me too much for shipping. The agent I spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he resolved my issue immediately and even processed the order right then so I didn’t have to lift a finger. I am beyond pleased with both the product and BH’s customer support. But that’s nothing new. BH always has top notch products and service. That’s why I keep coming back! 5

The two major reasons for choosing this turntable was the beautiful wood finish and the fully automatic feature. The internal preamp works beautifully and I'm beyond pleased. The only gripe is the poor instruction manual from Thorens. Tone arm balance was poorly explained and it does not explain how to adjust the automatic feature if the tone arm starts too far in. Luckily a youtube video addressed that issue. Sine then, its been a joy to own. 5
