Q: 4. How many inches do the rollers extend past the rolls of paper?

A: We do not have this in stock at the time of receiving this question to measure exactly but it should stick out approximately 3-4 inches past the end of the roll on either side. .

Q: 5. Can this be used for panorama (with left/right slide)?

A: As a pathologist, I was trained in macrophotography of surgical or autopsy organ specimens. This specialized type of lens/camera cradle is designed to perform the following: 1. Permit the normal lens focusing for general composition 2.Lock the camera/lens together as one rigid unit and then, using a combination of the tension and focusing knobs, finely move them forward/backward for final focusing. At these distances D.O.F. is minimal: rigidity and enough lens clearance for shadowless lighting and, often, backlighting are required. Obviously, lateral or rotary movement, such as for panoramas, are not pertinent.I am an active customer of B&H; I went into this detail to help your company understand your product. There are, doubtless, good books on panoramic photography, but mine is from 1996 - obsolete.Regards,Harold Block, M.D.
