The white B6 Omnidirectional Lavalier from Countryman is a miniature lavalier microphone measuring only 0.1" in diameter. It features a 3.5mm locking connector and connects to select Roland recorders with audio on the left channel. The B6 microphone provides high-quality audio with low distortion at SPL up to 120 dB on 48V phantom power. The aramid cable combined with the ultra-thin diaphragm ensure low handling noise. And the tiny size combined with natural sound pickup make the microphone easy to position, for ambient noise and feedback rejection.

The included changeable protective caps (+0, +4, and +8 dB) provide moisture resistance, allowing you to adjust the frequency response to suit different applications or to match other microphones. Each of the three omni caps has a different high-frequency response characteristic that controls the amount of crispness or sibilance (response at 15 kHz). This microphone ships with the attached +4 dB protective cap that boosts the perceived amount of presence in your sound, while leaving the lower frequencies unchanged. You can switch to the 0 dB cap in case of problems with high-frequency feedback.

With low-handling noise and a rugged construction, the B6 microphone is a suitable choice for theater, broadcast, places of worship, and general lavalier applications.

I've only used it once, for an interview I video-ed (I ran the microphone cable directly into the camera) but the sound is excellent. A superb product for the price!

First off, I use the my lapel mic for one on one interviews. The sound quality is fantastic! The simple connection to my Canon G20 and G30 camcorders is amazing. All around the OLM-0 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone by Polsen is one of the best microphones I've purchased! Very Statisfied!

I bought the OLM-10 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone to use with my Canon video camera because Canon always includes an 1/8 mic input jack which provides better sound than the built in mic when interviewing someone. My old Audio Technica lapel mic only has a tip-sleeve configuration so I always heard a 60hz buzz when ever I tried to use the wall plug-in power supply but the tip-ring-sleeve configuration on the OLM-10 Lapel mic allows me to use my video camera with the plug-in power supply instead of batteries without picking up any 60hz buzz. Thanks B&H for carrying lots of great products, keep up the good work.

I don't have a fine enough ear to hear the difference between this mic capsule and a sennheiser, but I can way easily tell that when you use this for your screen calls on your pc laptop with the bad audio (gave it to my friend to use on her screen calls on her pc), it is night and day. first of all, the audio is captured from inches from your mouth, but the audio just came through smooth and clean.

I've been using this product to record actors' auditions and it works very nicely. It clips on subtly (or you can tape it to the chest to hide it even more), and records audio crisply. The only downside is the cord, which has to plug directly into your device. Nevertheless, it's a cheap and quick alternative for my minimal sound needs.

I got it a few days ago and have recorded piano and sax with it using an SM57. This little interface sounds great. Im very happy with it, super easy to use and with my Mac to it is completely plug and play. Also makes for a very nice desktop DAC.

This is a great microphone for the price. They are compact, reliable, and I use them for quick, on the go interviews. Much less to go wrong than with wireless mics, but you do have to deal with the long cable.

The buying process was easy and efficient - unit arrived earlier then scheduled.
Actually used this mic as a pick-up for an acoustic guitar and it works perfectly into a 10 watt amp. Very impressed with its quality.
Would buy item again and recommend B&H without reservations.
