Q: 1. Are vests interchangeable? We have male and female operators at our company with vastly different waist sizes

A: The vest that comes with the Easyrig Vario 5 Standard Cinema Flex Vest with 5" Extended Top Bar is not interchangeable.

Q: 2. Would this not work well with a lighter set up? Say 12-16lbs. I often use the Minimax, but sometimes have heavier setups.

A: This is designed to work with setups between 24 to 28.5 pounds. It will not work with a lighter setup.

Q: 3. Is the carry bag not included?

A: A Carrying Case is listed as included.

Q: 4. Can the vest be detached and washed in a washing machine?

A: The Vest can be detached. However it is not recommended to place into a washing machine due to metal mechanical components still attached to the vest. Instead the Manufacture recommends hand washing using a brush and mild detergent. Then after that air drying the system.

Q: 5. Is the vest one size fits all?

A: For the most part, yes. I'm a relatively smaller dude... 5'9 155lbs. It fits me nicely, but all of the straps are as tight as they can go. If you are smaller it'd likely be difficult to get a snug fit. It looks very expandable from there though. My 6'2 220lbs. friend used it no problem. So if you are bigger/taller you'd be fine. Not sure what the upper ceiling is for weight/height. All straps are adjustable seem to conform to various body types. Hope this helps!

Q: 7. Is this available in xs-small? How do you differentiate when ordering?

A: The size of the Easyrig is based on the camera, not the user. If an xs-small vest was made, it would not adequately fit the operator or be able to hold it's 39 lbs payload. Q: 8. Are you able to adjust the extended arm? I'm 5'7 and with the Minimax, I find myself to short for taller talent. But how comfortable is the extended arm in most cases?

A: The extended arm has a 4 inch / 20mm adjustment. The manual on the product page contains detaled instructions on all adjustmens. Click on the overview and read the manual on right side of the page.

A: Where the string comes out, it is fixed. To vary the string point, you use different arms.
