A: We could not guarantee that 48v phantom power would pass properly through this type of adapter if being used with a balanced 3.5mm jack with phantom power output.

A: Since this is an impedance matching transformer, it would be recommended to use an XLR cable of the length of your choice to connect to the XLR female side in order to extend.

A: The LM100 is an impedance matching cable, low to high, while the other is not. If you are connecting to a line level input you will need the impedance matching cable, if you are connecting to a mic level input you will use the less expensive XLR to TRS cable.

A: Both would be an OLP Filter serving the same purpose. However at this time this is the only OLPF we have available for the DSMC cameras. The other options are all DSMC2. If you are in the market for such a filter for your DSMC, this is our best option.

In addition the mic you connect must be dynamic, or battery powered. The phone will not provide any power to the mic.
