A: Yes this is the right battery. But please note the following: The new battery pack's connection socket is different from the older XS 1500. You must remove the mounting bracket that comes with this new RBC (Replacement Battery Pack)124) and reuse the old mounting bracket that originally came with your old XS 1500 unit because it has the proper connector to plug into the old unit.

The replacement battery arrived very quickly. The instructions to remove the old one and how to install the new one were complete and thorough. The actual installation took five minutes and was a plug and play replacement. You do not have to be an electrician to make short easy work of it. 5

From the time my replacement battery was opened, 'til the old battery was in the box for return took all of MAYBE 3 minutes. That included time walking from where the box was opened to where the UPS is, uninstalling the old batt, installing the new, walking back to the box and placing the old battery in the box readying to be returned. The delivery guy could have waited. LoL They're so impatient. LoL It's taking longer for the pick up to return the old battery for recycling, than it took to order, receive and install the replacement. :) 5

We probably have 20 of these ranging from ES350's to SUA1000's. The alert is on time, the replacement reasonably priced, and the freight to and from for the recycling makes the entire process of replacing a battery easy. 5

A UPS has one job, and that's to provide your computer/devices with the backup energy they need to protect against a power outage. While it's possible to find cheaper replacement batteries out there, if you're shopping for a battery of this class, then I think it's worth getting an official replacement as opposed to a no-name generic. I'll take that peace of mind any time. 5
