The black PM0.4cB Personal Active Speaker System from Fostex is an active and passive speaker system with high efficiency and high-quality sound. They can be used in various environments for, post-production, broadcast TV, and recording studio applications.

Each speaker features a 2-way configuration. The woofer uses a rolled rubber edge for the 4" diameter glass-fiber diaphragm, which delivers clear sound, and the 3/4" diameter tweeter generates rich, natural sound at higher frequencies. The compact, rear bass reflector and wooden cabinet provides a natural, deep-bass sound. Furthermore, the PMO.4cB speaker system includes a power cord, a bare wire speaker cable, and a dual RCA to dual 1/4" audio cable.

A: They both connect with a wire that comes with them. It's not very long so if you want to put them far apart, you have to buy another one with the choice of your length. The speakers themselves are not very big as shown in the descriptive picture. They are around 18 inches in height

A: Hi Noel R,Depending on what your goal is. We have a large screen TV and we connect a laptop to the TV and then the speakers to the laptop and it raises the volume of the TV. On the back of our TV there are many outlets to connect to other things, I am guessing that one of them would connect the speakers directly to the TV. I'm not TV savvy enough to know which one. A: Yes, you can use it with a stereo amplifier if you bypass the speaker outputs and go out of a line level output. This Pyle Pro speaker system has both line and auxiliary inputs.

I own other Behringer equipment and the MS 16 monitors have met all my expectations for quality, ease of use, and sound. The sound is clear and its excellent when you plug in headphones. You can't expect deep base with monitors this small but they're great for use with my desktop computer. 5

Many years ago I bought a pair of Roland MA-8 monitors for a video editing workstation. I liked them so much that they have stayed with me as different editing systems have come and gone. Unfortunately, Roland no longer makes them. I hunted high and low for another pair recently when I was putting together a second edit suite. I came across these Behringers and they looked pretty much the same. Much to my surprise, when I received them--they are EXACTLY the same. Meaning: Behringer went to the same OEM manufacturer that made the Roland MA-8 and got their name put on them. The only difference is the color. I have been using these for a long time. They are outstanding video editing monitors. Besides the sound quality, what I like is the fact that the amp is in the right speaker, and the left speaker is just a speaker, so one volume control does both speakers, and you get a headphone jack. Simple, easy, and works great. 5

I didn't have a ton of money to spend on new studio monitors but after extensive research I decided the Behringer Ms16's would work okay. I got them installed today and had some time to run them through the rigors of audio / video production. Excellent flat response and delivery of authentic audio. Much better than I expected and heavy. Solid build. It's good to have good audio again. These should last a long time and deliver quality audio for my multimedia productions! 5
