This paper feels and looks great when your final print is on it. Its durable with a bit of thickness to it. Not cheap and flimsy at all. I am going to buy this paper again.

I use this paper and the 13x19 size with my Epson R2000 printer. My formerly standard paper was Epson Ultra Premium Matte, which I still like very much. By comparison though, this paper looks richer and the colors have more depth. You seem to be looking into the paper rather than just at the surface. I initially had some trouble getting it to feed right, but found a solution. When feeding it through the single sheet feeder I keep a slight amount of pressure on the paper until the printer grabs it.

We use hot press for many of our fine art prints. Any image where the texture of cold press would be a problem will be printed on hot press bright or natural. These papers are heavy and have real substance to them. They have nice smooth surfaces and show the color very well.

I print on an Epson 3880. My two favorite papers for portfolios and prints that will be hung are Epson Hot Press Bright and Exhibition Fiber. I use the latter for about of my prints, especially those with a wide range of colors for which a certain amount of snap is needed. But both EFP and HPB excel at reproducing a wide color range and wide luminosity range. But some prints just look better with a flatter, matte surface. For these HPB is my go to paper. I use it for both B&W and color prints. For images with a narrower color and luminosity range, with particularly muted colors, I use Cold Press Natural. Usually, these images also benefit from a textured paper, somewhat less white paper, like CPN. I can't think of any negatives.

This is the surface I have changed to for all my color work. People often ask me what this paper is as they are impressed by how smooth and even toned it is in appearance. Have switched permanently from Hahnemehle 308 gramm fine art matte to this paper. That it is as good as it is makes sense as the engineers who make the Epson printer I use (and love!) work closely with the paper designers to create the perfect surface for their inks!
