$447.00 $679.44

Prevent leaks and keep your Canon EOS-1D X Mark II camera safe in Aquatica's A1DX Mk II Underwater Housing with the SURVEYOR Moisture and Vacuum Sensor. This unit is sensitive to atmospheric pressure, and it allows you to confirm watertight integrity before diving. An included compensation function improves accuracy by ensuring that changes in ambient or internal temperature will not cause incorrect readings.

Once your camera is installed, simply push the actuation button on the sensor's circuit board. With the optional valve and extracting pump, which are part of the complete Vacuum Circuitry Kit, you can actually remove excess air to create a vacuum in the housing.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Where is this made?

A: This light is made in Japan.

Q: 2. Could this strobe be used with a Nikonos V?

A: The Sea & Sea YS-D3 Lightning Underwater Strobe is compatible with the Nikonos-V Underwater Camera. However, you must add the Sea & Sea Sync Cord (5-Pin) for YS Series Strobes to Nikonos Bulkhead. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/3nv3X4q.

Q: 3. Is it possible to use the side grip with this housing?

A: no

Q: 4. hi, May I know what is the distance from the opening in the camera to the opening of the housing? Is the vacuum check system same as the Aquatica surveyor kit? Lastly, the housing will be tested before shipping right?

A: Aquatica pressure test all housings before shipping. The included vacuum check system with the Aquatica Underwater Housing for Sony Alpha a7R III or a7 III with Vacuum Check System is the SURVEYOR pressure valve and vacuum pump. Q: 5. Would this housing fit a Panasonic FZ300 bridge camera?

A: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300 Digital Camera will fit in the Ewa-Marine D-B Underwater Housing For Mirrorless Cameras. However, the zoom range will be limited.

Q: 6. Hi all, I purchased this housing and tried it for scuba diving. Unfortunately, I could not get the mode dial to work in this housing. Anyone knows what the issue might be? I read the manual attentively and aligned the camera before closing the housing, but still didn't succeed. I will greatly appreciate your advice! Except for this issue, I really like this housing

A: Hi Marina, I send you e-mail privately Regards Ran Vered Fantasea Line info@fantasea.com

Q: 7. Will an npf790 fit inside this housing? Or is the 770 the largest capacity battery that will fit?

A: Yes, the largest battery you should use with the Aquatica 5HD Underwater Monitor is a NP-F770 battery pack. It will not work with anything larger, such as an NP-F970 battery pack.

Q: 8. Is this the Mark I or Mark II version of the YS-D3?

A: This Sea & Sea YS-D3 Lightning Underwater Strobe is the Mark II version.

Q: 9. Will this fit the gea 360 (2017 version) also, why is the case more expensive than the camera?

A: It's not for the Samsung Gear 360, it's for the Ricoh Theta versions V, S or C. The case has buttons on the outside that line up with the camera buttons & the Gear's buttons are in different places. It's a fair price for an underwater housing; the question should be: why is the camera so inexpensive? Answer: competition. You can reduce the case cost by buying the camera/case package: https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1377528-REG/ricoh_theta_v_kit_with.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1377528-REG/ricoh_theta_v_kit_with.html/a

Q: 10. Is the Ewa-Marine D-B housing compatible with the Nikon Z7?

A: It is but if you are planning on using adapted lenses or larger filter threaded lenses i would go to the U-A100

I'm currently running an FS7 with V mount batteries, external 5 monitor, Zacuto VCT plate+shoulder plate. Lenses are often at the long & heavy end. This head can handle that setup no problem. For general everyday shooting it will cover all my bases. From my days working in broadcast I grew to like a lot of friction in the head, and it would be nice to have a little more in the tilt axis for long lens work (e.g. surfing), but it's nice to stay with a 75mm system for genearl everyday use.

The head is also lighter than the Manfrotto 504HD I used previously. The prism spirit level is GREAT as someone vertically challenged. I also like that the tie down bolt can be removed, leaving a flat base for mounting on a slider.

I originally wished they made a touch & go version of this head but now have grown to like the advantages of the the Sideload. Mainly that there is much more adjustment range available forward and back.

What would have been nice is if two camera plates were included. The price to buy Sachtler's plates individually is nearly 5% the price of this head - which I think is over the top. Thankfully standard Manfrotto style plates are compatible however I would only trust the Sachtler plate on a heavy/expensive rig.

Chose this over the Aktiv series because there's virtually no chance of failing with the traditional tie down system. Yes, it may be very slightly slower to level than Aktiv heads and the flowtech legs won't be able to go as low because of the tie down knob, but I would sacrifice those limitations in exchange for reliability and versatility when mounting on different sticks or dolly. Wish Sachtler sell the flowtech legs with FSB series as a bundle too and not just with the Aktiv series.

Using this with a heavy Ursa broadcast setup at around 22 pounds and have had good results. Very smooth. Counterbalance is almost perfect. I wish the pan drag could go a little stiffer, but its not really a problem.

Very smooth fluid head with nice settings. Would say it's worth purchasing.
