Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will these gels hold up ok with 1000w continuous lights?

A: No problem, just make sure they're at the end of the barn doors (with room for heat to escape) and not directly against the front element of the light.

A: You can use Rosco Primer to prep the surface https://bhpho.to/2x81SO9.

Q: 3. It says euro version, but is it the same as the American version?

A: Correct, the Rosco E-Color+ Complete Numeric Swatchbook only comes in that version as those are the E gels.

A: Just bought a set yesterday. They are not labeled. B&H described this 12X12 set as having 15 color correction filters, but yet in the box there are 16 filters. I counted mine today and there are 16.

Q: 6. Can I put gels on bulb of ad600 and not melt?

A: No, we highly suggest attaching gels to barndoors in order to preserve the life of the flashtube. Please review the following item. Godox Barndoor Kit BH #GOBD04 • MFR #BD-04 https://bhpho.to/3uzRgFn

Q: 7. are there attachments to put into a godox ad600 pro?

A: To use these gels on the AD600 Pro, you can use the Aputure Barndoors, Grid, and Gel Holder for LS 120d/II and LS 300d/II LED Lights, which has a built in holder. On the other hand, there is also a specific gel kit such as the Flashgels Creative Color Gel Kit for Godox AD600Pro and Flashpoint Xplor 600Pro Strobes, BH # FL600PCREATV which fits to the glass dome. That being said, no holders are required. https://bhpho.to/2KeijTg https://bhpho.to/2SpbBh8

Q: 8. for that price for 3 gaffers tapes, is true?

A: No, if you read the description closely it says black; not white, gray and black like I was under the impression from when I saw the photo.

Q: 9. Is it heat resistant? Doesn't seem to specify.

A: Yes. I use it to control the spill on hot lights, 150, 300, 650. It's what it's made for.

Q: 10. Hi, what's the difference between this and Rosco cinefoil? Google has failed me.

A: Both Rosco Cinefoil and Photofoil are comprised of the same material. However, the difference is with the sizes they come in. Photofoil comes in 12" x 10' or 24" x 10' while the Cinefoil comes in smaller sizes.

I used this in a studio setting with some kino flo diva light. I need to kill some spill coming out of the sides. The Cinefoil was so easy to use to make a custom barn door/flag. I just used a couple of clothepins(C47's) to secure it to the light.

I am not sure how I got along without Cinefoil before I found it. It allows one to quickly and easily create impromptu modifiers for your lights. It really doesn't matter whether you/re using studio strobes, speed lights or pocket flash. There will come a time when you will want something to flag, gobo, snoot, raincoat, lens cover, or any of many other tasks. Cinefoil will either do it or it will be a good start.
