The Tiffen 3 x 4" 4 Red Hard-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a warm, bright red coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a hard-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 4 color density provides less red coloration than the 5 density, but more than the 3 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 3 x 4" / 76.2 x 101.6mm.

Note: A vertical orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the short side of the filter.

A: Yes, you can use it as a carry on. I brought it on a flight to the Philippines just fine. Some airlines will have a weight restrictions, but they let me carry it on because they didn't want to be held liable for any damages. A: I would minimum of two rows of foam on all sides of your gear (looks to be about an inch I would say). One row will detach too easily but two holds up well and will help maximize space. You definitely can't fit as much in with the foam as opposed to the Velcro padded interior, but certainly have more protection.
