Not too heavy and not too light, it’s brass and never gets stuck to my filters. You get a bonus case with it as well. Threads on to the lens seamlessly. A premium step up ring right here. The great thing is that I always have this step-up ring on and I can’t use my lens hood or cap so polar pro “defender” is perfect for this. If you only have 1 lens like me and will keep the filters on all the time get the polar pro defender to go with this. 5
