In addition to HDMI to SDI conversion, the HSCSA-2 HDMI to 3G-SDI Scaling Converter from Osprey Video offers a bevy of video workflow features. Tools include a built-in scaler, plus interlacing and de-interlacing. A frame rate converter adjusts the input signal to your required output standard. Audio options include embedding/de-embedding for AES/EBU and analog audio. The HSCSA-2 Converter's diagnostic data overlay can be activated to monitor your video information.

The HSCSA-2 Converter is designed with one HDMI input and one composite video input, and with three 3G-SDI outputs. Settings can be changed using the USB interface or the converter's DIP switches. Four custom settings are user-configurable via software, and diagnostic data can be enabled for video information monitoring. This compact unit comes with a power supply and mounting brackets.

Super small and yet the best out there, with imbedded audio. Watch out for cheaper units that will strip the audio out and are much larger. 5
