A: The softbox on the back has straps that work with Velcro that keep it on the light.

A: The light uses a passive cooling system. No fan.

A: The output equivalent given for this fresnel would be based on tungsten.

Q: 7. Can you get this light with an Anton Bauer batt connector instead of v mount?

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer only offers a V Mount plate such as the Rayzr 7 V-Mount Battery Plate for Rayzr 7 200, 200BM, 300B B&H # RAVPR7 to power this light on location. An option to convert the battery plate is the Anton Bauer V-Mount to Gold-Mount Adapter Plate for Sony F5/F55 CineAlta Cameras B&H # ANQRC4KS, however it has not been tested to our knowledge.

Q: 8. Will I need an adapter to run this off mains power in Australia? Can it be purchased with the correct power cables etc

A: The version we carry comes with the plugs for the US. You may add a plug adapter for Australia onto the existing US plug for use in 220-240VAC.

A: The ARRI Snoot for Arri 1000W Fresnel, B&H # ARST1, would be compatible for use with the Rayzr 7 7 300W Bi-Color LED Fresnel Light. It is not compatible for use with Bowens light modifiers.

Q: 10. What's the latest on the external dongle for WiFi control? What is the best way to operate wirelessly with full controls?

Got two of these and they’ve been fantastic. Great output, easy to battery power, light weight. Can’t wait for the soft box/intensifier/snap grip accessories to come out. The Rayzr sales team assures me that they’re coming soon 5

PROS: High output matching Arri Skypanel S60 in a significantly lighter package. Green/magenta + gels + effects. Removable barndoors are handy. CONS: Plan to buy a 4-pin XLR extension cable, the one connecting the power supply to the lamp head is quite short. The control screen uses a pretty small font and is a little laggy. According to Newsshooter's tests, output will fluctuate depending on colour temperature setting. Full power output at 3200K is about 85% the full power output of 5600K. Fans are always on, regardless of dim level. I've used it on talking heads in studio, with the lamp at full power about 10' away from subject, with no complaints from our audio recordist. Concerned maybe in a small room it might be audible. 3-pin DMX ports are a strange choice that would require adapters to interface with standard 5-pin 5
