The Realtree Max5 design features a wide variety of plant-like patterns, including tall grains such as wheat and oats. This makes it well-suited for hiding from birds and other types of wildlife in many different environments.

Cover size is well-suited to DSLRs with standard-length telephoto lenses, ranging from 100mm lenses up to 400mm f/5.6 focal length lenses.

Lightweight, waterproof, and breathable poly tricot material with tape-sealed seams protects the lens and camera from rain, snow, salt spray, dirt, sand, and dust.

No-slip rubber is added to the front section to provide a solid grip on the lens hood without the use of a bungee cord.

Cinch straps adjust the total cover length by folding the material over itself and keeping the cover snug on variable sized lenses.

Two integrated side pockets reveal foldaway arm sleeves for easy access to camera and lens controls.

A hook-and-loop closure runs along the bottom of the cover to permit the use of a tripod or monopod, as well as manual focus control on the lens barrel.

The size and shape of the rear opening can be adjusted for greater protection or for easier control access. The design of the cover also does not require the use of a dedicated eyepiece.

A mesh storage pouch is included for packing the cover when not in use.

Compatible with optional LensCoats, Hoodie lens caps, and camera BodyGuards.

Q: 1. is it long enough for a canon 400mm f5.6 lens with hood fully extended and 1.4 extender and extension tubes added ( approximately 18 inches in length )?

A: Yes, the RainCoat Standard is 20 in length and will fit your setup. It is designed for the 400mm f/5.6 lens.

Q: 2. Does this fit a Canon 400mm f2.8?

A: Fits my Canon 100-400 II does not fit my Canon 500 f4 is

Q: 3. whats the maximum diameter of the lens that it can handle ? I have a hood that is 5 inches in diameter .

A: I just measured it with my 4 1/2 inch hood and there was a good two inches more room left. It is an impressive rain coat.

Q: 4. Will this work with a Wimberley Sidekick?

A: It may depending on the size of your lens & camera set up. You may also need a gimbal cover, something also made by the LensCoat company that covers the gimbal head by itself, then the RainCoat Standard of larger model, pending what size you need for you particular set up, would mount onto your camera & lens! The bottom has an opening that would allow you to mount onto the gimbal but the thing that I am concerned with is the side mounting of the lens onto the Sidekick! This unit is made so that the mount is on the bottom & the other openings for you hand to slide into so you can reach the controls of the camera body. You may want to ask someone at B&H Photo for there expertise of these items are & they may suggest an alternative model that would better suit your needs! ... Hope this helps with your decision! I love my model but I have never used a sidekick with it so this model might not work as needed! ... Contact Customer Service at the store for a more precise detailed description & maybe an alternative to your needs! ...

Q: 5. Can this rain cover be used in conjunction with a Gimbal head that is mounted on my tripod?

A: I would say yes. I use a pan and tilt head not a gimbal and the rain coat works fine. The way it attaches leaves the lens foot and plate exposed.

Q: 6. Will this Rain Coat fit comfortably over the semi permanent LensCoat for Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 lens protector? Or will it have issues to address?

A: Yes, it will fit very well, or at least is my experience, due to the Rain coat is big enough to fit even bigger lens, so you just need to adjust the velcro

Q: 7. Is there a way to use a camera flash (shoe mounted) with the lenscoat raincoat pro? I have canon film slr - eos 3 and canon speedlite 550 ex flash. thanks

A: Hi Sanjay, in reference to you question about the raincoat pro...it does not have an opening for the hotshow, but there are ways to shot with the raincoat on.One way would be to pull the raincoat around the flash. This would leave the flash exposed and a small portion of your camera on the back side of the flash.Another way would be to turn the faincoat so that the sleave is facing up and you could slide the sleave down over the flash and use the pullstring to cinch it on the flash so that only the end of the flash is exposed. This option should give you what you are looking for while keeping your equipment dry.Hope this helps.

Q: 10. Will this product fit a Canon R6, w/100-500 RF Lens?
