Striking a sensitive balance between compact and full-sized, the Leica 10x32 Trinovid HD Binoculars enjoy the performance of the latter, and the easy portability of the former without sacrifice. Engineered with the technology that users have come to expect from the brand, the Trinovid features P40 phase-corrected prisms treated with their HighLux system to limit internal light diffraction and eliminate interference for improved clarity, sharpness, and contrast. The objective lenses are fully multi-coated with Leica's HDC coatings for maximum light transmission through the optical path to ensure accurate color fidelity and high-contrast views, especially in challenging lighting conditions. These technologies work together and complement each other to produce an immersive observational experience with bright images that are clear and sharp across a field of view that approaches wide angle. To capture extremely close-up views of small birds, bugs, butterflies, and insects, the Trinovid is equipped with a powerful 10x magnification and an exceptionally short 3.3' minimum focus distance.

Built to withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the chassis is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum-alloy wrapped in a protective slip-resistant rubber armor. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof, and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes or conditions. A wide interpupillary adjustment range, generous ±4dioptric correction, long 16mm eye relief, and four-position click-stop eyecups ensures easy and comfortable use by most people. From the binoculars' exceptional optical performance to the thoughtful construction details, these midsized Trinovid binoculars deliver performance while being comfortable in the hand during long observation sessions on the trail, at the range, in the stadium, or sightseeing around town.

Q: 2. I was wondering if it is possible to get a replacement rubber for the eyepiece on the Leica 10x20 BCA Trinovid?

A: Unfortunately we do not carry the Leica replacement eyecups. My sincere apologies. I would recommend contacting Leica directly for this piece. Leica's Telephone#: 800-222-0118

Q: 3. What is the warranty on these ??

A: Leica Trinovid series as well as Leica's Ultravid, Noctivid, Monovid and spotting scopes collections all have a lifetime limited warranty when purchased from a Leica authorized reseller like B&H and serviced in North America. They also have a 3 year Leica Passport warranty.

Q: 4. I got this bins for my wife for xmas. She loves them. But I need a solid soft case. Any recommendations? Thanks!!

A: I agree a case would be nice, but I do not have a case for mine.

Q: 5. Where are these Trinovids manufactured?

A: The Leica 8x32 Trinovid HD Binoculars, are made in Portugal.

Q: 6. Do these come with the innovative "Adventure Strap" carrying case?

A: They come with a strap and a carrying case but the Adventure strap is an optional accessory: https://bhpho.to/3hdao6V

Q: 7. are those made in Germany?

A: No they are made in Portugal. I have a pair of Trinovid 8 X 32 I bought about 20 yrs ago that were made in Germany; these (10X40) are just as good. Both terrific. I like the larger image. The slightly heavier weight also help me steady my tremor. Good glasses!

Q: 8. I'm trying to decide between an 8x32, 8x42 or a 10x42--Can anyone point a reference that would allow me to compare these before I buy?

A: the 10x42 Leica Trinovid binoculars have a Field of View of 339' @ 1000 yd The 8x 42 Leica Trinovid binoculars' have a Field of View of 372' @ 1000 yd You will see the 8X binocular's view is 20% further away Again the 32mm size ocular is 25% darker than the 42mm size

Q: 9. Which bino is a lighter, smaller item for hiking and 1000meter distance

A: The distance of 1,000 meters is over ½ mile. You made a good choice with the Leica. You may want to consider a binocular that is 10x32, which will have the same magnification but will be smaller and lighter. The ZEISS 10x32 Conquest HD (B&H# ZE10X32C) or the Leica 10x32 Trinovid HD (B&H# LE10X32THDB) are great choices.

Q: 10. Are these binoculars made in Germany or Portugal?

A: These are not the same quality of the German made Trinovid in the old times. The Portugal copy of this renovated product line is performing at best as a $250-$500 bino from other manufacturers. If you are from a $100 bino this will for sure amaze you, but definitely not for someone own quite a few Leica optics. Just be aware...
