The Kupo GoPro Tripod Mount with Ball Head Adapter attaches to your GoPro-style action camera via its three-prong mount. Use this ball head adapter to increase your range of positions when attaching your GoPro style camera to a clamp or other support with a mounting stud. The bottom of the adapter has a 3/8"-16 thread and it includes a bushing for use with a 1/4"-20 thread. A cutout on the ball head collar enables you to tilt the camera mount at angles up to 90°. Constructed of anodized aluminum and plastic components, this mount is both lightweight and durable.

A: I think it can be removed, but not replaced with a different size screw. The screw at the top has an allen wrench opening.

Perfect support for a small pan or ball head. Use this with a Kupo Easy Grip Finger and a Cardellini clamp and you can hang a camera just about anywhere. I also have the Matthews version. This has set screws on the base whereas the Matthews doesn't. The 5/8 receiver is offset from the center because more metal on one side means longer screw threads, and it's still small enough in diameter to fit a junior receiver. 5

Yeah, it's not quite as sexy as an Arri camera, but it is a VERY solid way to adapt a 3/8 thread to a 5/8 pin or C-stand. The flat base is fairly wide, with 3 locking screws for additional stability. I bought 2 of these for supporting sliders on C-stands, and just bought a 3rd one for utility use. Kupo gear is similar build quality to Avenger and Matthews, and somewhat lower price. Hence, it's a great value. And if you can't afford another Arri camera, you can always afford a couple of these. 5

I put a pano arca head on it and use that to mount my field-monitor which has a cage, arca plate and handle in vertical position so as I move around my solo studio to set the scene I can adjust or dismount the monitor quickly to keep viewing it away from camera. I already have baby pins and receivers to remount it on all over the place and the repositionable t-handle-screw makes it easy to adapt to different pins. 5

I bought two of these to support my camera slider when mounted on C-stands. I found this part to be so handy for many other things, so I bought a 3rd one. Buy it...you know you need it. 5
