Great added tool for my filmmaking needs. Works great and is very sturdy. I will be grabbing another one.

The floppy seams to be well made, and it blocks light.

This flag kit seems expensive for what it is. But the convenience is undeniable. The units assemble extremely quickly. And the ability to have all those light modification options, silk, neg, bounce, net all in one handy and lightweight package means it's one of those tools that can go with me anywhere and serve a lot of different tasks without weighing a ton. Really useful. Pricey, but the type of thing that you would use every day.

I really like the velcro on the back of these. It allows you to join the corners together if you have a couple side by side, join the two floppy corners together behind the stand, and there's also a velcro bit in the center for securing the middle of the floppy piece to a stand. No more having to use clips to keep the floppy from blowing into the AC or Director. They are a bit smaller than Matthews. I'd estimate an inch or so narrower. I don't really mind that, but it could be a drawback for some. TRP is a great company. I expect this to last just as long as a Matthews, and am planning to purchase a few more.

4x4 solid floppies are staples for a reason, but this one steps it up even more with built in velcro straps for securing the bottom of the fabric to your stand (no more clamping them with #2s and ripping your fabric) and connecting the bottom corners of adjacent floppies (to create more seamless walls without adding weight or creating puckering). It's beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing. My favorite solid 4x4 floppy, even over Matthews or American. If you're in the market, give it a good hard look.

What can I say? These are the best. I've been renting road flags kits for the past two years, and could resist finally buying a set of my own. They've recently been updated even more so that now there are no hard corners on the modifiers... they should last even longer now and avoid scraping on the ground / wearing out like the previous versions. Frames are built solid, and the modifiers are all exceptionally crafted.

The Silver Lame not included in other Road Rags sets is extremely underrated and can make-or-break exterior shooting. They really nailed it with this kit.

After using my tiny rode rags kit for 4 years, I knew I had to level up. The frame assembles quickly and feels very strong and sturdy. I've used the silk flag to diffuse sunlight for waist-up interviews as well as the reflector flag outdoors, and I am in love.

These are expensive, but to be able to carry 2 48x48 frames with 4 different flag options in a compact kit makes it absolutely worth it.

Really happy with this purchase.
