Circular Aperture
A 9-blade aperture ensures that the diaphragm is circular at all f-stops, providing for a more natural impression.

Floating Mechanism System
The floating mechanism system is effective in preventing malfunction and increasing the life of the lens. Tests have shown high optical performance at all supported subject distances.

Aluminum Alloy Construction
All internal parts are protected by a solid and rigid aluminum housing.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this a fully manual lens?

A: Yes it's a fully manual lens

Q: 2. What's the field of view?

A: It's equivalent to about an 18mm spherical lens.

Q: 3. Which digiscope instrument to buy for iphone 14 pro?

A: This Novagrade Universal Double Gripper Digiscoping Adapter would be the best option in my opinion: https://bhpho.to/32hdKfd

Q: 4. will this fit a canon xa20?

A: Sorry, but the Canon XA20's lens is not removable so there is no way to mount this Kowa lens. Since 25mm is very telephoto on the XA20's 1/2.84 HD CMOS Sensor, you might consider this tele converter that you mount on the front of the XA20's permanent lens. Canon TL-H58 Tele-Converter Lens (1.5x) B&H # CATLH58. Of course, this all depends on what you are planning to do.

Q: 5. Will it work on the Canon C200?

A: It could work, though there's no way to view a desqueezed image on the C200, so you'd have to use an external monitor with an anamorphic desqueeze mode. You may also have to slightly crop in to avoid vignetting.

Q: 6. Will this work on a Sony a6700?

A: Yes, the Sirui 24mm f/2.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens (E Mount) is designed to be used on aps-c and super 35 cameras, such as the a6700.

Q: 7. What is the image circle?

A: The image circle of the Sirui 24mm f/2.8 Anamorphic 1.33x Lens (MFT Mount) (B&H# SI24AM43ML) is sufficient to cover a micro four thirds sensor. It should not be used with other sensors and it will not attach to other mounts. Moreover, changing the flange distance could result in the loss of infinity focus.

Q: 8. Is this scope compatible with Manfrotto 128RC head?

A: Yes this Micro Fluid Head will be compatible with this Scope.

Q: 9. What is the close focus distance?

A: This has just under a 2' Minimum Focus distance.

Q: 10. Is the mount on this lens compatible with the Olympus OMD EM1 Mark II camera?

A: Yes it is. The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II has an MFT mount.

First set it up on a dark day looking through the window and thought it was ok. Finally had sunny day and got wowed by how sharp the KOWA glass is. At night I could just make out the bands on Jupiter. I want to get the 1.6 extender. Shipping from B&H went perfect.

This is one of the best scopes on the market right now. Excellent glass and wonderful viewing experience. Easy to dig-scope. Love the new lens objective cover design that keeps the cover in place! Huge improvement there. I have to agree with other reviewers that the plush green bags the scope and eye piece come in are of little practical use and I'd rather pay less for the product and skip those altogether. Or, if a storage bag is to be included, it should be one that is actually functional and protects the optics.
