Check composition, focus, and settings on your camera's monitor in bright sunlight with the HoodLoupe Outdoor LCD Viewfinder from Hoodman. It's compatible with most screens up to 3.2" in size. The finder attaches to a HoodLoupe base and then fits right over the monitor to block out excess light.

Three glass elements ensure that the image you see through the loupe is bright, clear, and sharp. If your vision is less than perfect, the +/- 3 diopter lets you make the necessary corrections by simply turning the eyepiece in or out. The HoodLoupe is compatible with all of Hoodman's live view mounting plates to allow for hands-free use. As a bonus, a lanyard is included for wearing the unit around your neck.

When I signed up for a four-day photo class with Randall J. Hodges, one thing he recommended was this product. So glad I took his advice! 1. It completely blocks out the sun and glare, allowing you to clearly see the screen. 2. The diopter let you adjust to however good or bad your eyesight is. 3. It allows you to check your composition much better than looking at the screen w/o it. This has really helped improve my photos by noticing things I normally would have missed. 4. If I ever upgrade to a camera with a bigger screen, I just need to buy a bigger hood instead of a whole new unit. Currently I use a Nikon D3300. Like others have said, I wish I had known about this years ago! 5

Finally bought the Hoodman Loupe. Clear, sharp and easy to see. Use Nikon D750 and D800. Works well on both cameras. Helped me refine my focus and review my image after. 5

They have changed the design so you can't collapse it to make it smaller but it works just fine.� Fulfills it's purpose to let you easily see the LCD in bright light. Diopter adjustment is a plus for folks that need the function. 5

As my eyes don't see as well as they used to, the HoodmanLoupe is really quite helpful to see if the image is properly focused. You can adjust the diopter to your level of vision. It also allows me to really examine the photo to see if I missed anything in my composition. 5
