Use this for carrying MBP to/from work as well as for travel. About the bag itself: It is not a small case, HOWEVER it is small enough for fitting under seats on planes and big enough to hold charger & mouse, plus notebook, papers etc. Just perfect size in my opinion. Lots of very useful small pockets and compartments that are compartment Zippers are of very good quality (only the butterfly one seems to be of lower quality than the others), material is good, shoulder strap is nice and wide (note - it is meant to be carried cross-body over the head) and it hooks in via solid metal hooks and rings that are very well build into the bag fabric. The laptop compartment itself provides a perfect snug fit for a Retina 15 MacBook Pro. Not too narrow to make it difficult to get it in and out, not too large allowing it to move around - just perfect. Travel notes: If you travel on 737s a lot - fits under the seat even for aisle seats which have less under-seat width than middle and window seats. Greatest thing - the butterfly function allows out to leave the laptop in the case for security screening. Tested in LAX and ATL airports so far - no issues. Overall - I love this bag!

I needed a case that would accommodate my Lowel Rifa 66 and two Pro Lights and this was perfect. The adjustable walls allow you to configure the case any way you desire.

Smaller than I expected from Porta Brace but fits 2 of my telephoto lenses perfectly.

It's a real hard case. Durable. It will put a hole in your wall. It's good for running people over.

I absolutely love the Porta Brace case. It's surprisinly spacious and it's foam inserts are easy to customize. I was able to fit a 13 MacBook Pro, Blackmagic cinema camera, and a canon 60D.

I bought this to replace a carrying bag for a photographic light modifier. The original bag did not last and was too expensive replace. This is the perfect alternative.

I'm an independent film maker/student. Made the mistake of getting the soft case with my first Lowel light kit. After a few uses, the zipper broke... the bag is still functional, but can't be secured. The molded case is tough, secure, and can be pulled along on its wheels. It's not as over-built as a Pelican case, but it doesn't hold anything that probably can't be dried out if immersed.

These casters are perfect for the Lowel GS Grandstand (a truly great lightstand with lazy leg). Perfect combination. The legs fold up tight with the casters in place- not as tightly as without the casters, but very acceptable.

I use this bag to hold my home studio lights and supports.  Its roomy enough to hold three supports and umbrellas.
