The AOI is made up of a system that detects the movement of the membrane and the coil, as well as a filtered counter reaction. This is then tuned to achieve the ideal dampening rate for each frequency

The ALG is used in all regular 2-way and 3-way PSI Audio speakers. The shape and dimensions of the waveguide used in PSI Audio's custom tweeter is specially designed to optimize directivity, as well as maximize sound-pressure level, and extend bandwidth

The CPR system is made up of several all-pass filters, each acting in a specific range. Combined, they create a compensated phase response, which provides a constant group delay that is kept to the bare minimum through the entirely analog technology

The PSC technology enables remote activation and deactivation of the standby mode of your loudspeakers via the signal cable

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this works on a IMAC computer?

A: Yes, the M-Audio BX5 D3 5" 2-Way 100W Powered Studio Monitor Kit (Pair) can be connected to an Apple iMac computer. If you are not using a USB audio interface with line output connections for speakers, you will probably want to use a monitor controller like the Mackie Big Knob Passive Studio Monitor Controller (B&H # MABKPASIVBLK) which will connect to the computer's 3.5mm audio output or headphone jack.

Q: 2. Can any subwoofer be use with these monitors or only the HS8S?

A: The HS8S and HS5 integrate together very well; but most active subwoofers may be used with the Yamaha HS5 monitor speaker.

Q: 3. Can I get this bundle in the white variant? Not bothered about the woofer colour just the monitors . I know as singles they do come in a white though.

A: The white version is available I checked another reliable dealer but it is on backorder. suggest you call B&H and ask if and when it would be available they will be happy to contact our buyer for you.

Q: 4. Can I use it as desktop speakers?

A: Yes. These will work on a desktop. Isolation pads are usually a good option to ensure the desk does not resonate with the speakers. I would recommend using an audio interface for the best sound out of a computer, but a cable like this can be a less costly solution to output sound from a computer: https://bhpho.to/3yudNDe

Q: 5. Can I use a single speaker only, with 3.5mm to xls adapter with a Mac studio?

A: Yes you can do that.

Q: 6. I just wanna know if the U$D199 for one speaker or two?

A: The Yamaha HS5 powered studio monitor currently sells for $199.99 USD each. A pair of them would currently cost $399.98 USD.

Q: 7. Are these good for music production?

A: Yes, this monitor is good for music production., specifically, tracking and mixing, but not for mastering.

Q: 8. Do these need to be powered down when not in use?

A: Yes. That would be a best practice.

Q: 9. what is the ohm ratings for these speakers?

A: The input impedance rating for the Adam Professional Audio T8V T-Series Active Nearfield Monitor is listed as 10 kOhm / 20 kOhm.

Q: 10. I'm undecided between Yamaha HS8 and JBL LSR 308? JBL is much cheaper but is Yamaha that much better than JBL? I'm a big fan of JBL but finally it's made in China.. Where is this product made?

A: Yamaha HS8 are currently made in Indonesia.

There is a reason you see these in almost any studio you walk into. I've had mine for 13yrs and just ordered this replacement due to someone knocking over my speaker smh.
