I have three of these and although I had one go bad, something in wireless communications just randomly craps out, still can't beat these for the price.

These are great manual speedlights for OCF. They work well, battery lasts for several weddings, and they are extremely affordable compared to the camera manufacturers speedlights.

I bought three of these and they’re great. Very fast recycle time and good battery life. Bargain too because they’re not TTL. Probably not a great flash to sit on your camera at an event but for off camera they’re fantastic. They will over heat outdoors using HSS but since I have three I can just swap a hot one out and I’m back in business. There plenty strong enough for studio portraits and the HSS outdoors gets me there shooting wide open with a fast shutter. Didn’t expect them to be as good as they are. Consistent enough to my eye. I prefer the regular flashhead to the round one on the newer model because they fit into my Bowen’s brackets. One mount for everything.

It sounds too good to be true - a couple of seconds to do a full recharge and 600 full shots out of one battery. I purchased this model after I lost one of my 2 previous models. It's somewhere in Hong Kong. I've never been left with a flat battery. It just keeps going and I don't miss out on the action waiting for the camera to charge because I use it less than full power. I've been known to have three flash guns being repaired at once. I use them outdoors on big lenses and I'm forever bashing them off the hotshoe. This one has a metal hotshoe and so far I haven't killed it. The only fragile part of the flash is the white reflector card. It's easy to pull out and I found impossible to put back in. I'm in love with just having manual controls. I'm frustrated with auto controls on flash guns and usually want manual. There are no auto settings to get in the way. A quick whirl of the wheel and I can adjust the strength of the flash or it's zoom. There is only so much auto rubbish one needs doing photography. This flash gives me the control that I want. It is easy to use because you can replay. I get the strength right first time around 80%. It's cheap. I no longer use my more expensive flashes. The only reason you wouldn't use it would be because you are not confident you can use the flash manually. It's easy - step 1 turn from auto to X step 2 choose an aperture and the strength of the flash step 3 do a test shot and look at the result step 4 adjust the flash strength and zoom and do a second test shot step 5 fire at will knowing you are not holding something loads like an old front loading rifle.
