I have a couple of different kinds of lights. Some of these LED panels run a little on the magenta side which can be great for warm looking shots but this light is nice and neutral and lots of power. Two of these fill up a 20x20 space with light. The fan has an off switch but I don't use it as it is pretty darn quiet. I wish there were reflector inserts for the barndoors but I guess I might have to build my own.

We just purchased the two Genaray Square Sun 1x1 Bi-Color Soft LED
Floods. I simply cannot say enough about them. A great light panel for all our lighting needs. Multi-Purpose, perfect for intimate Interviews or lighting a set. The Bi-Color feature comes in handy when dealing with outside light sources (Windows) .

I used this light on a recent shoot and it was just fantastic. I'm a portrait photographer and used this light both as a key light and as a fill, supplementing the Sun or other light sources, and it was beautiful. The light is soft, output is impressive, and the barn doors provide control of spill and placement of light. The variable color temperature is also a real treat. It's easy to match other light sources and to create some beautiful, visually appealing mixtures of temperatures. Clips on the barn doors are also a plus for adding gels. I would guess that the light is just as good and useful for video, but for still photography, it's very nice. For those that still like and want square catch lights in the eyes, this is a great. Sometimes you just want what looks like window light and not always a round catch light that mimics the Sun. Build and construction are very impressive. Controls are simple and easy. I can see myself using a 3 or 4 light setup with these LED panels.

For the price you can't beat these lights.
Pros:
- Very well built, well thought out engineering.
- Love how the AC power adapter securely slides into the V mount when used.
- Removing the barn doors is super easy & quick, but very secure when in place. Not to mention the clips on the barn doors for easy attachment of gels.
- Good difused light output & CRI
- Exellent range of rotation of light
- DMX capable

Cons:
- These are heavy lights, make sure you have heavy duty light stands or use C-stands
- No travel bag
- You only get 80% light output without the fan on. To obtain 100% light output, you must have the fan turned on. The fan is noticeable when on.


I still gave this 5 stars because it simply outshines it's competition in this price bracket.

So I got the pleasure of owning one of these Genaray Square Sun 1x1 Bi Color Soft LED Flood lights and it's absolutely amazing!! Where do I even begin. First it has a LED screen on the back to tell you you're lighting temperature, you can change from tungsten to daylight and everything in-between! It also has a built in cooling fan in case you want to shoot at 100% power. This light is bright at full power and can literally save you if it's the only light you have and you need to light a large area. I use it all the time for interview style shots and to do the intros for my Photography Show PhotoForge, and it is without question my favorite light to use in the arsenal!! :D

Excellent light, Well made, strong continuous lighting. Quiet fan that can be shut off for video. It has plenty of power. Heavy for transport and needs a solid case.

Fortunately B&H did decide to let me return the Dracast light I purchased as it was seriously below par. This light was more cost but what a difference. Bright, neutral light, and so very soft.

Needed two powerful and soft bi-color led lights and I'm very pleased with these. Much brighter than my other lights - Kinoflo Diva 400s, Dracast Led 1000 plus. Works perfectly with my v mount batteries. Build quality seems much better than the Litepanel Astra's I have rented. Will use in studio and on location.

Great addition to my lighting setup

I Love my Genaray Twin Sun. This light is too pretty to get damaged or scratched. The perfect case that fits the Twin Sun is the LUXLI TAIKO CASE, which I also own. I purchased another TAIKO case for storing the Genaray Twin Sun.


I also provided pictures for you to see, make sure you check them out here. The only thing is, the 5/8 receiver is a quarter inch too tall and this is NOT a problem! The LUXLI case will STILL accommodate the Twin Sun and CLOSE PROPERLY. The LUXLI case is a STEAL, super affordable, pretty, has extra dividers and pockets, all heavy duty.
