Q: 1. I try to get my head around the comparison of a traditional studio flash setup and a LED setup. My personal example: I shoot family portraits in a studio. Use a standard light setup with a Broncolor Pulso 3200 WS with 3 heads , 1 big 3 ft soft-box , 1 beauty-dish and 1 reflector with grid. In general ISO 200 - 400 and Apertures 2 - 8 with my Fujifilm X-H1. Off course the Broncolor handles that with room to spare. How would this setup work-out with the Genaray Endeavor and/or the Powerhouse ? Can I work with similar camera settings with an acceptable shutter-speed ? Say 1/30 sec ?

A: For ISO 200-400 you will be down to 1/30 for f/8 or a touch slower depending on how far the lights are setup. And then you can get movement when using Genaray Endeavor ML-33K Daylight LED Monolight.

Q: 2. Two questions: 1) is the light output of the modeling light proportional to the strobed light, and 2) any slave sensor?

A: *********Duplicate Pleas Delete****************

Q: 3. How is the light output compared to an ARRI 650 fresnel?

A: The Arri is a lensed fresnel so its a little bit of a uneven comparison, but they are about the same. The Arri will be brighter in its beam, the Genaray wider in its spread.

Q: 4. WHAT IS THE LUX POWER AT 3 METERS?

A: According to the manufacturer about 3066LUX at 3m with a reflector on.

Q: 5. Is it possible to turn the fan off? And if not, how loud is the fan compared to the Genaray PortaBright Bi-Color LED

A: The fan cannot be turned off. The fan on the Genaray Portrabright is not very loud compared to the ML33K.

Q: 6. What length is the included power cable?

A: The length of the AC power cable included with the purchase of the Genaray Endeavor ML-33K Daylight LED Monolight is approximately 16 feet (4.88 meters) long.

Q: 7. Two questions: 1) is the modeling light output proportional to the strobe output 2) is there a slave photo sensor on the unit?

A: it's not proportional and it does have have an optical slave

Q: 8. Does this kit come with Speed Rings? If not which brand is compatible and recommended? What is the approximate cost for the speed rings.

A: The kit comes with two soft-boxes and each one comes with a speedring.

Q: 9. How many led's are in the Genarary Endeavor ML-33K?

A: The manufacturer does not specify the LEDs used in making the array. Its a 150w LED with a output of 33,000 LUX at 1 meter.

Q: 10. Will this lightning it be compatible with my Canon 6D Mark II? If not, will I need to order wireless transmitters for the flash?

A: The Photogenic Matrix MCD400R 400Ws Monolight 3-Light Kit includes an integrated 16-channel receiver in each monolight. The kit comes with a 16-channel remote transmitter which is compatible with your Canon 6D Mark II. Please note that this is a manual flash kit, and therefore does not have TTL functionality.

Nice light stands, also use as backdrop stands. They do what they are suppose to do. Seem sturdy enough, & well made.

I am kinda stuck on Bogen/Manfrotto light stands and tripods. But I am also cheap. I had looked at numerous light stands before commiting to the 367B. Cheap, generic light stands are just that, and even for the price I couldn do it. The 367B is Manfrotto quality at an affordable price. It is just right for my needs and I use it with speedlights and monolights. I thought it was going to be more like my 3086 Manfrotto, and all aluminum. But the 367B has plastic parts--like the colors at each extension pole and the part that holds all three legs together. Slightly bummed, but not a deal breaker. I suspect Manfrotto made sure the stand was plenty strong. I certainly haven't had an problems. I say buy, I would buy them again and I may just buy more.

I use this item with my off camera flashes and it gets the job done effortlessly. Great build quality at a very affordable price. Sure there are less priced items out there, but you get what you pay for and Manfrotto is known for top quality equipment.

This is a great multi-function housing that's big enough to keep a steady picture but not too big that it's difficult to store. I shot with in the searing heat of the Utah Salt Flats and am very pleased with its performance.
