The Jensen Transformers Iso-Max PI-XX is a passive, single-channel line-input isolator which prevents and eliminates hum and buzz by isolating the input of the connected device. It also attenuates electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) problems, making it an ideal tool for use in recording studios, broadcast houses or performance venues.

The PI-XX features a high-performance Jensen transformer with internal Faraday shield, which provides galvanic isolation between the input and output to eliminate ground loops and reduce common-mode noise by as much as 124 dB. The unit delivers a flat frequency-response from 5 Hz to 40 kHz, and can withstand signals in excess of +19 dB at 20 Hz, without introducing distortion, phase shift or artifact of any kind.

Easy to set up, with no power required, the PI-XX features gold-plated XLR input/output connectors for applications with balanced audio systems. The device is equipped with a rugged, extruded aluminum case and is well-suited to stand up to the rigors of live use.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this product supports fast charging?

A: Yes, it's a quick charger and supports fast charging. Best regards!

Q: 2. Does it have to be used with a particular mount?

A: The DigitalFoto Solution Limited HULK-ISO Shock Vibration Isolator is a universal solution. However if you are attaching a DJI Gimbal like the RS3 Pro or RS2 to the shock mount you would need a gimbal base adapter BH #DIPDRS2 https://bhpho.to/3BtjbLM

Q: 3. We use 70V PA systems in our conference room. They have built amplifier and equalizer. Would this transformer go between the equalizer and the amplifier or between the amplifier and the speakers?

A: This transformer is used to send balanced or unbalanced line level audio signals over long distances. It would be placed between an equalizer and an amplifier.

Q: 4. Can this headset be used with the Eartec Hub lite as a wired headset for that system?

A: No. This particular Eartec Max 4G Single Headset with Inline PTT and Motorola 2-Pin Connector is designed for use with Motorola radios. The wired version for the Eartec HUB is the Eartec Max 4G Single Headset with Dual 3.5-2.5mm Connectors (B&H # EAHUBMXS).

Q: 5. It says its compatible with IDX. Can I charge IDX Duo batteries? Or will they fit?

A: Yes, there should be no issues with these IDX batteries.

Q: 6. What is the weight capacity? What grade of alloy is used?

A: The weight of this DigitalFoto Solution Limited HULK-ISO Shock Vibration Isolator, is :0.5~8kg And the Material would be :alloy aluminum+stainless steel wire spring.

Q: 7. Can this be used to feed a line-level output from a soundboard into a mic-level input camera socket where the source signal is 30 or 40db more than what the camera needs? I am not sure which side is male vs. female. Thanks.

A: Yes. I use it to take line level from a soundboard into a mic level audio recorder. It works perfectly.

Q: 8. Need to pad a piano mic before the mixer for better low volume control - does it matter where I put the attenuator in the line or does it need to be right after the piano mic???

A: Best results will be closest to the start of the signal chain(microphone).

Q: 9. Will this connect to to Motorola T80?

A: No it will not. The T-80 is a single connector radio.

Q: 10. In the video you can see a part in between the isolator and the power base of the gimbal. What would that be the bridge between the two?

A: There are several manufacturers that make the DJI RS2 (Power) Base Plate.
