The Decor Mirror Ball Stand with Motor from Eliminator Lighting is a tripod stand with a mirror ball motor that is capable of holding a mirror ball from 8 to 20" in size. The speed of the motor is 3 rpm. The stand and motor kit includes a white scrim to cover the tripod legs. The power cable is built with an on/off switch and is 5' long. The mirror ball is sold separately.

A: The maximum recommended weight to be hung is 22lbs according to the Adj website.

A: The one I got from B&H has a detachable A shaped mounting bracket with a hole for a c-clamp. I would not recommend wall mounting because it will heat up during use and could cause damage or fire. It is a good unit with easy settings. Paul C, Decatur GA

A: This dimmer accepts. DMX 1 x 3-Pin XLR Male 1 x 3-Pin XLR Female

Q: 6. Does it have a port where I can play my own music through it or is it pre loaded with it's own christmas music?

A: This is a dimmer pack, and does not have any pre-loaded music. It does have a small microphone so that it can be sound activated, and by using the dip switches you can change the pattern.

A: The USB ports are used to power devices that have a USB connection.

Q: 8. Can this be used on an angled ceiling without a shim to level it?

A: This item is designed to be used on a flat surface.

A: oh it would probably work then. It works by AC power dimming so it should be fine

A: The manufacture does not have it rated in Lumens but in Lux and Candles. It is, 65 fc / 700 Lux at 6.56' / 2 m

I have three of the 12 foot lighting stands and the arms are very cumbersome to assemble disassemble and transport These arms seem very sturdy and it's just a snap connecting them to the lighting stands (and in cramped spaces under the speakers on speaker stands). Get a set and I promise you'll go back and get a second set! I use all LED pucks, I don't know if I would recommend them for heavy PAR fixtures. 5

Hang them vertically or horizontally. Either way, they are great for adding more pars to your existing set up. They are not built to hold a moving head, even a small 10 or 25 watt one. They are however great for adding more pars to really make a wash of light cover the entire area! 5

These arms do exactly what they're supposed to do. They are lightweight and easily attached. The hardware (set screws) seem somewhat fragile and don't seen to be as durable as they could be; be careful not to damage or over tighten them. Also do not go over the recommend weight limits. These are best used as left-right pairs on a stand-alone lighting or speaker stand. I learned the hard way that they tend to tip over if not counter balanced. If they are attached to a stand with a speaker, the tipping problem is less likely. These arms are priced fairly, lightweight, and easily transported. 5
