Q: 1. What is the MuxLab part number for the DC Power Supply recommended for this? 12V DC brick when used without a POE network switch

A: MuxLab do not make a proprietary DC Power Supply for the MuxLab Dante/Quad Channel Audio PoE Gateway however, any 12VDC, 1A (amp) minimum power supply with positive polarity will provide sufficient power when using without a POE (PSE) Ethernet switch.

Q: 2. I have three 23.98 camera inputs, two at 1080P and one at 1080PsF, will I be able to scale and HDMI output at 1080P 60?

A: You might want to contact the manufacturer directly. This product has a lot of features and allows many different frame rates and resolutions to display all at once or individually on screen

Q: 3. Can any or all of the four inputs be resized or moved around? I am looking to creat custom layouts for live viewing purposes of multiple cameras at once. A simple quad won't always do. For instance, I may just want one large main image with a smaller image in the top corner, but not overlapping the main. or a main image with three smaller ones on the right.

A: Hi There, This is Jules from Product Support at Symbiosis, the master distributor for Decimator in North America and Europe. The four hardware inputs can be routed to any of four windows, which can be resized and repositioned to any size or location as long as they comply with the following rules: The windows need to fit within the overall dimensions of the output resolution in use and only Window 1 can have other windows overlapping it. I hope this helps but if you would like more information or need a hand setting it up when it arrives feel free to contact us at support@symbiosis.com. Kind Regards Jules

Q: 4. Can this take PAL as an input?

A: Yes, the DMON-QUAD 4-Channel Multiviewer does accept PAL format signals, such as 1080p resolution at 50 fps.

Q: 5. Does it come with a mounting plate?

A: The DECIMATOR DMON-QUAD 4-Channel 3G-SDI Multiviewer does not come with a mounting plate.

Q: 6. Hello, does the card support audio on all 4 channels simultaneously? My focus is on live mixing / capturing sound together with video over the same hdmi input. Thank you.

A: Hi, did a quick test and can confirm it can do audio on at least 2 channels at the same time no problem. I'd have to hook up some other hardware to test all 4 - but I'd bet that it can. It can certainly do all 4 video at once (I've tested that in the past - but didn't test the audio)

Q: 7. Is this capture video live?

A: This, this can be used to capture live video from cameras or camcorders that have a clean HDMI output. You will need to use it with compatible software though for recording. Wirecast Pro, which is streaming software, also allows for ISO recordings of the inputs. https://bhpho.to/2SCygC6

Q: 8. Does this work with Macbook Pro 2019 models? Also, is it compatible with OBS and/or Qlab software?

A: Yes, this card is compatible with Mac OS. However you will need a product like the Akitio Node Thunderbolt 3 External PCIe Box to use this product with a Macbook Pro, BH #AKNODET3IATU. It is compatible with OBS. https://bhpho.to/31aar7U

Q: 9. Can I feed two video signals and get a half and half left to right screen display?

A: Hi James, This is Jules from Symbiosis, Decimator's Master Distributor for your territory. The DMON-QUAD allows you to create custom layouts that will let you resize and reposition the windows in a multi view. You can have any number of windows up to the number of inputs, in this case four. So it's straightforward to create a layout that puts two windows on screen next to each other centred vertically. The pictures will retain their aspect ratios so you will have some black space above and below the windows. I hope this helps. Jules

Q: 10. I have an LG Oled TV 83' which I play video games like Minecraft with my kids 6-8-10 yrs in Split Screen mode. Many other great games are single player like Zelda Breath of the wild. I don't want my kids playing in separate rooms, instead I want them to play together. I need Quad 4K Multiviewer PIP who can handle 4x inputs 1080p (4x PS4 or Wii U consoles) and display 1x output 4K I need a very fast Quad Multiviewer who can handle gaming, with latency or display lag no higher than 20 ms. My TV has around 10 ms display lag but none of the multiviewer sellers give information about the display lag or latency. I'm simply looking for a split screen technology which allows the kids to play together on the same screen instead of being alone in their rooms which I find being more lonly than couch co-op. All answers are highly appreciated and welcome.

A: The Ocean Matrix HDMI 4 x 1 1080p Multiviewer with PIP & IR Control would work as a viable option to merge up to HDMI 4 devices and give an opportunity to have your children work on the same television. https://bhpho.to/3JclDHv
