Nice a soft for carrying my tripod on my shoulder

Well made, fits like a glove, looks awesome and eases the load on your shoulder especially with super telephoto and big zoom lenses. A bit pricey but worth it.

Just got back from a few days in the Uinta mountains with morning temps as low as 33 degrees. Hiked a lot with my full setup and my hands really appreciated these covers.

High quality. Pretty thin so not going to pad ur shoulder very much. Can add zip ties to tighten more but not necessary.

They fit like a glove and provide a bit of camouflage, protection for tripod legs, but best of all, comfort for your shoulders when changing locations. Check your tripod’s leg diameter and the length needed on the LensCoat website to be sure they will be a good fit. This set works well with my RRS TVC-23 (1.25” diameter x 16.5” length).

I was introduced to the LegCoat system when renting a tripod while mine was out on repair. I am one of those people who like to sling my tripod over my shoulder, sometimes with the DSLR attached, and move from position to position while on location. I noticed that the strain on each shoulder was greatly reduced with the LegCoat covers in place and that I did not have to swap shoulders as often. Additionally, these covers have the added benefit of not giving you a cold metal or carbon fiber (yes, carbon fiber can get very cold in the night too) leg to grab when adjusting things. I use these covers with my Gitzo GT3542XLS tripod and have not been happier as they give me great padding, a good grip in all weather conditions, and don't add too much extra bulk or weight to each leg. The only downside I can find so far in using them is that they do tend to soak up moisture in humid or rainy environments.

I must admit i was skeptical about how well the wraps would fit and/or stay in place. I am very happy to say that they fit PERFECTLY. They do stick, with no adhesive, to the tripod legs like they were welded on. The velcro that they used is some kind of freaky super velcro that once pressed together sticks together so well that i am not sure if i will ever be able to take them off. To me, that is a good thing, to others perhaps not. I must say that the description of the product does not do it justice. These things REALLY DO stay where you put them. They are very nicely padded and provide a very comfortable grip surface when carrying the tripod. Another great product from lenscoat !

and will be warmer in cold weather to handle.

Solid and less snagging on brush than other brands.

The first thing one notices as soon as you remove them from the package is that they are a quality product. I was pleasantly surprised to find them thicker than I expected, and the stitching is well done on the borders. The velcro is wide and once you start adhering them to the legs, you realize they won't be coming off easily! I had another set of hands assist me in placing them on so that they aligned properly, only because it takes much effort to pull it apart once the two velcro pieces are mated. My one complaint: a bit pricey for 3 foam wraps but I chose to buy them knowing this. This model is the right fit for the Gitzo GT3542XLS.
