The 20 x 20" Kinotehnik Softbox for Practilite LED Light is compatible with the Practilite 600, 602 and 604 LED lights. The softbox features a "pop-up" design that makes for fast setup and breakdown. It folds flat for storage and transport. The softbox requires a Kinotehnik speed ring for use.

A: One of the diffusers is a 60 degree beam the other is a 90 degree beam. You should be able to tell them apart by looking at the light spread.

A: No. We do not recommend this to be used on camera will cause damage to hotshoe of camera and should be used off camera on a light stand.

A: The Genaray PortaSun Round Flexible Bi-Color LED Light 5770 Lux and the Genaray Full Moon 18" is 7000 lux. Meaning the full moon is brighter. But the PortaSun you can use it with a softbox. So, it can spread more and can be a softer light.

Q: 4. Would this fit the Angler 865BLED 8"x8" light?

A: Unfortunately, the Angler Cylinder Omni Softbox for 1 x 1 LED Lights would be too large to fit the Angler 865BLED.

A: No, the Genaray PortaSun Round Flexible Bi-Color LED Light does not offer remote control capability, neither via a handheld remote nor via a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi smartphone/tablet application.

Q: 7. Will this run using one battery? I can run the original Spectroled 14 (75 wt) off of one 14.8v v mount brick for a long time. This says its 150 wt, so I'm concerned about running it on battery.

A: The, Genaray PortaSun Round Flexible Bi-Color LED Light with Softbox and Grid V2 (20") is powerful and does run on one 14.4v battery, But you should use a battery that is at least 150WH and more is better. A 150wh battery will last at full power about 1 hour on the light.

Q: 8. how far can the light be tilted down? Is there an angle limitation when tilting it down towards a subject?

A: The stand mount is cross drilled to allow sideways mounting. When attached from the side you can angle the light down until it hits the stand.

Q: 9. Is there Gold Mount power adapter available for using light with batteries?

A: There are Gold mount and V mount plates for this light. They new items that will be on the website shortly.

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer only publishes a lux rating for this light, which is 5460 lux @ 3 ft.

not an issue at all. fits my godex lights perfectly...comes in a carry bag, and the blk skirt was free promotion. can';t beat that.... 5

Now I understand why you need to have a powerful light, when you use a light modifier, it does cut down the brightness but you get no shadows! 5

B & H for the win! This little modifier is worth its weight in silk. Nice soft diffusion when you need three hundred sixty degree wraparound light for a table scene mounted on a C stand and boom arm or for a walk and talk mounted on a monopod or mic boom. 5

It’s good to receive the softbox in such small bag, but it cost to have the fabric too much wrinkled. It does the work very nice, we are using with led panels and the results are amazing with very soft light in our chroma key. The only negative aspect is it absorb so many light, you will need more power than you expect. 5

I mostly use softboxes for my strobes but a video friend of mine kept saying to get lanterns for even lighting - may of the ones that are sold for photo/video are literally paper lanterns - that wont last for me in a rental environment - so Ive passed on them quite a few times. Now this new take on the lantern modifier had me rethink what was possible ... This attaches and hands starting down and you can put your LED in the top I have some great Genaray ones I use! The light is so much more even and he was right it kills almost all the shadows if you use them correctly. Thinking 2-3 of these would be bright enough for a interview or other video production. Remember once you add any modifier its cuts the light down significantly - I grabbed the skirt too which can push some of the light forward with the silver side in. Super affordable and works with gear I already own - winwin IMO [I received this product in exchange for my honest review.] 5
