Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it possible to attach an IR extender? I plan to put this out of sight, but still want remote functionality.

A: Unfortunately we are not aware of an IR extender for this product.

Q: 2. Does this unit blank the screen during input switch or is it a smooth cut?

A: There will be a slight delay and a blanks screen when switching between the inputs on this Switcher and Scaler.

Q: 3. I understand the "Mute" button on the front of the unit mutes the audio output. Can this button also be configured to blank the video like the "Blank" button on other models?

A: The mute button on the Kramer VP-550X is not programable to other functions.

Q: 4. Will this switch support an HDR single?

A: We're afraid not. HDR is not listed as supported with this model. However you could look at the Gefen 4K Ultra HD 600 MHz 4x1 HDMI Switcher with HDR Support instead, BH #GEUHD60041. https://bhpho.to/2Grp0xR

Q: 5. Is the remote control RF or infrared on this unit? Thank You. Joe

A: A remote is not included.

Q: 6. I need to de-embed 4K HDMI and feed the audio to an ADAT input on a Scarlet 18i20 audio interface. Is the optical output compatible with ADAT or is it just the consumer version for A/V receivers?

A: The Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 18x20 USB Audio Interface (3rd Generation) does have optical inputs. While we are not aware of a specific test between the two products, we believe it should be possible to feed the Atlona in to the Scarlett Product.

Q: 7. Does this unit come with a stand?

A: No, the ViewSonic CDE4312 42.5" 4K Wireless Presentation Display (B&H # VICDE4312) does not include a stand. This display is designed to be mounted, and comes with screws for mounting, but a wall mount or display cart must be purchased separately.

Q: 8. supports Edge blending?

A: The Barco PDS-4K UHD 4K HDMI and 12G-SDI Presentation Switcher does not support Edge Blending.

Q: 9. If you have a projector with a HDBASET connection, can this be used to extend without using a Altona receiver?

A: Yes, If your projector has HdBaseT input you would only need to use the Atlona AT-HDVS-TX VGA/Audio + Two HDMI to HDBaseT Extender Switcher with Display to connect to your projector.

Q: 10. i want to have a mp4 player on a screen and, if i connect a second hdmi input, switch automatically to the second, but once it's unplugged, back to the first input again... is this possible? thanks

A: Yes, that is possible with this product.

I picked this camera as a static camera in a church multi-camera video system we installed early this year. The picture quality is great and unlike other micro cameras, you get everything in the package you need to make the camera work.

This camera is partnered with the AIDA Imaging PTZ camera all connected to the Black magic ATEM Television Studio HD and 20x20 Video smart hub.

Great image quality, great features, great everything.
