A: Unfortunately it does not. The WinPlus-IP software that it integrates with directly is not included.

A: I already answered that it's about 16 lb. What is shown as the BEST ANSWER is 6-7 lb. This is not correct, it's about 16 lb. as I said. It's heavy for its size, as it is essentially a car battery with other features. Also, the image shown is not quite correct. it shows three female connectors together near the top left. Those used to be 3, 6, and 9 volt outputs on an older version. They have been replaced by two USB connectors. The description is correct, but not the image.

Q: 3. Can one replace the batteries if they go dead?

A: THIS RECHARGEABLE POWER TANK IS POWERED BY A SEALED LEAD-ACID BATTERY, ONE PC (12V 7AH/20 HR). It cannot be replaced by the consumer.

I'm not interested in having an AM/FM radio, a siren, flashlights, etc. All in want is something that will power my telescope all night...Are there any similar products that don't have all the extra features? I had a Celestron 8NSE connected all night, charged a cell phone completely and using the red light. After 8 hours I used the led light to pick my stuff and the Powertank handled it easily. One point you must consider is that the powertank is heavy but is a price well paid. 5

The Celestron power Tank 17 Power Supply is being used to power my Orion Equatorial telescope and it works great!...Ample power, bright white light and an addyred light appropriate for stargazing...Highly recommended! 5
