I do events, and this battery pack could not be any better tool to have in you case or backpack. It saves you money and time in changing batteries or flashes. This baby worked all night with out leaving me behind or waiting to recharge my flash. If you shoot events and don't have this in your gear you are missing out.

Very lightweight and holds a charge for a long time. One big drawback is it's price. Very expensive.

It was a way I found not to heat my Nikon SB-900 Flash too much. Very agile recharge which is useful for weddings. The problem is to have it attached to my waist.

Got this to power my Quantum Trio and gave it a workout last weekend. Took several hundred photos and power didn't drop below 75%, then recharged before next session in less than 15 minutes. It is so lightweight that I hardly noticed it was clipped to my pocket.

I first rented this battery pack to photograph a priestly ordination, which was going to be a huge job. I didn't want to keep changing batteries over the two days, so I thought this could help. Over two days I shot 3,000 photos, all of which my 580EX II fired, and changed batteries a grand total of: ONCE. And the batteries in my flash were generic store brand batteries. I returned the battery pack and shot my next job without it, which was a smaller job. I shot 500 photos and changed batteries three times! I now own this battery pack, and couldn't be happier. The only complaint I have is admittedly nitpicking: The connection for the charging port and CZ cable is kind of annoying. I would like a more straightforward connection. Regardless, this is a must have for photographers that rely on their flash.

One of the biggest troubles facing Nikon SB-900 users is that there's no battery indicator on their Flash LCD to check .. so suddenly you find your batteries out of charge & and need to be changed, but at the same time you didn't need to stop shooting because (as a Wedding Photographer) you can't stop emotions of a brise & groom from flow till you change batteries. I find that Quantum - Turbo SC Battery Pack helps me so much to decrease depending on AA batteries as much possible as i can. also there's a lot of points i win by using Turbo SC Battery Pack such as fast recycle time - 4 led indicator - fast Recharge - more & more ... If you are a Wedding photographer who depends on flash on most of your shots indoor ... so go & buy it .. & you will pray for me (Note: I'm so Sorry for my weak English Language)

Excellent battery. My third. I use them on location to power my Nikon SBs, and more and more often, in the studio just because it is so easy, and with the iTTL, adjustment of eaach flash from camera position, is just too convenient to overlook. Won't replace studio lights if you need the power, but will work even better in a 'whole lot' of situations. These are lightweight, long lasting, and powerful.
