Stabilize your camera on irregular surfaces like uneven ground, vehicles, or tree limbs with the LensCoat LensSack Junior Beanbag Camera Support. Use by laying it flat to support a longer lens, or folded in half to provide additional height. Constructed from water-resistant Cordura in Realtree Max5, a nonslip grip material covers the entire bottom surface, as well as the gusseted edges, to minimize unwanted movement. Secure your camera one step further with the four d-ring attachment points allowing performance in the most rugged environments.
The LensSack ships empty, allowing you to use separately-purchased poly pellets, dried beans, or even sand and dirt found on location. The YKK locking zipper withstands harsh elements, keeping the fill of your choice from leaking. A built-in adjustable strap doubles as a carry handle for added convenience when transporting in the field.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Is the strap long enough to wrap around the lens effectively attaching it so it can be moved with the lens?
A: Generally, the strap in the center of the LensCoat LensSack Beanbag Camera Support would not need to be wrapped around the lens in order to support it. The lens would simply rest on the Beanbag for support. Whether the strap is long enough to wrap around the lens would depend on the lens being used with it.
Q: 2. It looks like some of the beanbag camera supports come already filled and some don't. Does this one come filled? It doesn't state specifically, so I want to make sure. Thanks!
A: I fill mine with sunflower seed. Empty it later or anywhere for the birds. No littering.
Q: 3. Would this bag be oK to use with a Sigma 500 f4.5 lens?
A: I bought it to use with my Sigma 150-600 and it works great! I've used it to support lenses on the hood of my car and by slipping it over the door to shoot bald eagles using the car as a blind. I have the metal plate but have not used it yet as I just don't seem to need it. Maybe use it this spring to shoot bears in Yellowstone as it will be easier to swivel the lens. I filled mine with packing peanuts to keep it light weight for carrying along with other camera gear.
Q: 4. What is the best size LensCoat LensSack beanbag for use with a Nikon 200-500mm lens: Junior or full size?
A: I watched a video on this and the smaller bag seems to be the right size for that lens. LensCoat has the video. And Id think if youre shopping for bean bag supports, youd know this isnt a bag or case...lol
Q: 5. Can I use this bag for my Nikon 600mm f4 lens?
A: I use my Nikon 800mm no problem.
Q: 6. I'd like to use buckwheat hulls to fill this. How much do I need to purchase?
A: When using the LensCoat LensSack Pro Jr Beanbag Support it is good to use a little less than 6 lbs of "buckwheat hulls"
Q: 7. does this bag good enough to support 400-600mm tele lenses ?
A: Absolutely. I use it with a canon 600 f4l is and 1DX. Works great.
Q: 8. What quantity of poly pellets would be good to go with this?
A: Fill to the desired level of support. The quantity may vary.
Q: 9. What is the internal volume of the lens sack?
A: If the dimensions of the beanbag are 19.5 x 11.5 inches (49.5 x 29.2 cm), then the overall volume is 224.25 cubic inches (1445.4 cubic centimeters). That converts to about 1.0 US gallon, specifically 0.971 gallon (3.675 liters). Anything more accurate than that could be provided by the manufacturer.
Q: 10. Has anyone tried the LensSack Jr. with a gimbal head? Would like to use the Jr. with a gimbal head and Nikon 600 f/4 while in Kenya.
A: According to LensCoat, you may add a gimbal to this product via the 3/8-16” mounting plate.
