Designed for telephoto zoom lenses, the TravelHood Zoom from LensCoat provides an adjustable strap-on hood that weighs only 5 oz and can be folded flat to fit inside your camera case or lens pouch. It fits tightly around your lens barrel and attaches with the use of hook-and-loop fasteners, blocking stray light from entering the lens for a clear image.

The water-resistant material of the hood grips the lens barrel to keep the TravelHood in place and allows it to be used in inclement weather conditions. This product comes in a solid black color and is made in the USA.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have the Canon 600mm F/4 II. When you're not using the standard hard lens hood, the cloth/velcro lens cap doesn't really fit on the end of the lens snugly. How do you all cover your lens front?

A: While I do not see a lens cap designed specifically for use with the LensCoat TravelHood (Large, Black), the LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover (4X-Large, Black), B&H # LELCH4XLBK, may work for your usage needs.

Q: 2. Can this be used as a universal lens hood by snugging one velcro strap around a lens and opening outer velco strap to mimic a lens shade?

A: I believe so. It is quite large, intended for large telephoto lenses.it would not be suitable for my 70-200 2.8.

Q: 3. I have a Nikon 300mm 2.8..AF....will any of these fit a diameter this large?

A: The LensCoat TravelHood (Small, Realtree MAX-4), BH # LETHSMM4 would be suitable for a Nikon AF 300mm f/2.8 lens.

Q: 4. I purchased a Rolanpro product similar to this one and it was too big for my Sigma 150-600 Sport lens. That is why I'm interested in the small size. The velcro strips didn't align with the end of the material and left too much flapping. Will this fit my lens adequately and have sufficient fastening material to keep the final end of the wrap tight?

A: According to LensCoat, they recommend the travel hood zoom for your lens. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/31VVYQQ

Q: 5. Does this fit on a Sony 400mm F 2.8 ?

A: Yes. The LensCoat TravelHood (Large) will fit on the Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens.

Q: 6. Which Lenscoat Travel Hood fits a Canon RF100-500

A: The LensCoat TravelHood (Small, Realtree MAX-5) listed above would not be the option I recommend for use on the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens. Instead, I would recommend to purchase the LensCoat TravelHood Zoom (Realtree Max5), B&H # LETHZM5, for use on the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens.

Q: 7. Will it fit Sony 200-600mm?

A: No. But this 1 will. B&H # LETHZM4

Q: 8. what is the range of diameters of lenses on which it will fit? This is a critical spec which is unfortunately not mentioned.

A: Because of the way TheLensCoat TravelHood Zoom is built, it will fit on zoom lenses from approx 67mm up to approx 150mm diameter. When using this hood on all lenses, and especially smaller zoom lenses, it can cause vignetting at the wider angles of the zoom.

Q: 9. Will the small lens travel hood fit the Canon 70-200 f/4 II or the 70-300 f/4 lens?

A: This would not be a good fit. All the sizes of the LensCoat TravelHood are made for larger lenses than the ones you have.

Q: 10. Which LensCoat travel hood would you recommend for an Olympus 150-400 lens?

A: The LensCoat TravelHood Zoom (Realtree Max5) BH #LETHZM5 • MFR #THZM5 will work on the OM SYSTEM M. Zuiko 150-400mm f/4.5 TC 1.25 IS PRO Lens. It will fit on zoom lenses from approximately 67mm up to 150mm diameter lenses. It is possible that it will cause vignetting at the wider angles of the zoom.
