I thought I was buying a lighter weight aluminum bracket, but this one is painted steel! Heavy duty and very well finished. I have adapted 2 of these to attach and support a 30' long flagpole to the side of a 5th wheel RV. VERY good quality stainless steel clamps are strong and secure. An excellent buy and FAST shipping. I ordered this to mount my GoPro on my motorcycle handlebars. The handlebars are quite a bit thicker than on a bicycle so I wasn't sure if it would fit, and at first it didn't. But fortunately the rubber liner of the clamp comes out easily (it's not even screwed in, just sort of pushed into the space), and with that removed it fits like a dream. I don't see it mentioned in the listing but the platform where the camera snaps in also rotates by pressing a clip and moving it. This makes it convenient to position the camera pointing directly forward. 5
