Move your camera rig with ease around your studio or on your set with this Pneumatic Pedestal Kit with Wheeled Dolly & Fluid Head from Ikan. This kit consists of the heavy-duty GH25 fluid head, the EP880S tripod pedestal, and the EI-7007 tripod dolly.

The GH25 fluid head has a 15-position counterbalance system and features a 100mm half ball base and a quick release plate. It features 7+0 steps of pan/tilt drag, a -80 to 90° tilt range, and handles payloads up to 61.7 lb. Two rosettes allow you to attach the two included extendable pan handles, while individual locks enable full locking of pan and tilt functions.

The EP880S pedestal boasts a flip-lock leg design with an adjustment lever that allows you to have control of the pedestal height from 40.4 to 71.1". A pneumatic center column with dampening provides flexibility when handling heavy loads, and heavy-duty locking latches provide reliability for the full system.

On its own, the EI-7007 dolly has a load capacity of 220.5 lb and a 39.4” footprint diameter. It is easily removable from the tripod legs for storage and transport and features three locking rubber wheels that are ideal for quick repositioning along flat surfaces. It also has a cable guard that keeps the cables from getting tangled in the wheels.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the footprint of the pedestal (how much space does it take on the ground)? Need to know width of the base to see if it'll fit on a platform or not.

A: The diameter of the Libec P110(B) Pneumatic Pedestal is 37.40 inches or 950mm.

Q: 2. What's the minimum weight this head will support using the counterbalance? A Panasonic GH4 with kit lens weighs about 1 kg and this seems to be too light activate the counterbalance properly. By properly I mean using the camera balanced on the head, the counterbalance at its lowest setting (1) is still too strong and causes the camera to bounce back to an original position. The purpose of the counterbalance is keep the camera at a fixed attitude when you release the pan handle--correct? I've experimented with a heavier lens on the GH4 (nearly 2 kg total weight) and the counterbalance works a lot better. Comments?

A: The head's lowest counterbalance setting as you have discovered is too strong for the load you are using it with. The only solution would be to add more weight or get a lower capacity head.

Q: 3. Does it come with the air pump?

A: The Libec P110(B) Pneumatic Pedestal with P110 Column and DL-8RB Dolly does not include an air pump.

Q: 4. The knob on the bottom to release the head is very difficult to grab and apply sufficient torque. It oftens loosens while tilting. Can i replace the knob with the paddle style knob from a Sachtler FSB8t video head? Are these threadings universal? Thanks.

A: Hello,Unfortunately, these threads aren't universal, but they are a standard M8 thread. I can't say for certain if the Sachtler locking knob will work, but if it uses an M8 thread there is a good chance it will. Also, make sure your load doesn't exceed the 11 lb. recommended limit for the GH03, and that the center of balance for the load is over the center of the head. No matter how tightly you lock it down, an overburdened or unbalanced head will shift in the bowl much easier than one that isn't.

Q: 5. Does this head use the same plate as the GH06 head?

A: Yes, the GH06 and GH03 use the same plate. The E-Image GP1 Quick Release Plate will work for both heads. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1046984-REG/e_image_gp1_camera_plate_for_gh03_06_08_10.html

Q: 6. Will a Sachtler FSB8 head with the standard long tie down fit this using a 100-75mm bowl adapter?

A: The standard long tiedown of the Sachtler FSB 8 MK II Fluid Head with Sideload Mechanism may not fit in the Libec P110(S) Pedestal System with P110 Column & DL-10RB Dolly. It would be recommended to use a head such as the Libec RHP85 Fluid Head with PH-8B Extendable Pan Handles, BH #LIRHP85, for best compatibility.

Q: 7. Is there fluid in this head or just friction disks? Everyone says fluid these days but it doesn't mean it actually has it.

A: I'm guessing is friction, I've never opened it so I don't know, but the fluid is not talking about a liquid, is talking that it has a fluid movement.

Q: 8. Will my Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head with Flat Base work with these sticks?

A: We're afraid not. You will not be able to use the 502AH head on these legs.

Q: 9. Will this video head receive a stand Manfrotto plate such as Manfrotto 501PL?

A: Unfortunately it will not. This head is not compatible with 501PL style plates.

Q: 10. Is the head removable? If so what size is the screw, trying to see if its possible to attach my slider.

A: It is sort-of removable? The threaded portion is not meant to be removed, but I suppose with some modification it could be. That being, said the base would not be stable (it is a ball mount NOT a flat mount) and if the threaded part is removed it would not easily convert from tripod to slider mount. You would need something like out GH03F to mount correctly.

Using this fluid head/tripod with a canon DSLR for a variety of projects/uses. It's a beast. Tripod is of solid construction and very stable/capable on a variety of terrains. Fluid head has adjustable drag and great range of motion (90* down) + counterbalanced. More than capable of handling a DSLR with mic, lights, etc. Probably better/best suited for a larger/heavier video camera. Was considering the Magnus VT-4000 but this was a bit cheaper. Probably a bit larger (and heavier) than the VT4000 when condensed? Carry case is nice and pretty rugged. Handles + removable shoulder strap. Interior pocket for miscellaneous items. Shipped with a Styrofoam piece that covers the head and another in the bag to protect the head from impact- both of which I will be keeping to make sure its protected when I'm on the go. Well worth the $. If this is in your price range look no further.

I purchased the unit to support a rather large 63X spotting scope (5 inch by 18 inch optical tube) that weighs in at a bit over 9 pounds. As my primary use for the scope is to observe an eagles' nest, I needed a unit with the ability to control the scope's size and weight (at a slight downward angle) while maintaining a steady and stationary position for an extended length of time. The unit is absolutely perfect for my application. As the unit was offered as an item on a B&H two day sale, the unit's price was extremely attractive!

I was about to buy a Sachtler second hand on Craigslist, but this bad boy was part of a weekly special at B&H and it is amazing. Great bag, perfect weight: secure on the ground but easy to lug, drag silky smooth, everything just works great. I was pining for my old Miller but not any more. Superb tripod.

An absolute tank, easy to use, the head has great resistance and allows you to get tiny adjustments without a second thought. No camera shake at all... well worth the cash and its even under priced.. The carry bag is high quality as well.
