Feels very durable, and gave me no issues when putting it on the lens or while changing filters. Very easy to put it on and forget it's even there.

Works well in having multiple lens and only 1 D5000 Canon Close-up lens.

I use this for an adapter that connects an anamorphic adapter to a lens.Solid. Well made, inexpensive.

Unfortunately B+W doesn't make this size, they make the best step-up rings. That said, this Tiffen ring is much better than any of the generics available in this size. It threads smoothly and doesn't seize. I would recommend Tiffen over any other brand in 52-77mm. This should be a popular adapter, anyone with Nikon primes will want to step up and only use one size filter (77mm) to save from buying filters in every size. Another reviewer mentioned a spring, not sure what that's about. This is just threaded on both ends, one piece of metal. No spring.

I use this ring for my 77 mm polarizing filter. What's great is that I don't have to buy a second 52 mm filter. Just one works for all my lenses! Seems pretty sturdy as well.

I have used this ring a few times with different filters. It goes on nicely and the filters come off just as easily as they go on. I haven't had any problems, so far. Plastic ring. Be gentle.

I use step-up rings so I don't have to buy different filters for each lens. This one is thiner than my previous one and the construction is much better.

Slapped this on a 5D with a fast 50mm for daytime shooting. Go from 2-8 stops of ND with a flick of your finger - this is a no-brainer! Well built, solid product, already saved me hours of time that I would have used to switch filters. If you shoot dSLR video, you need this.
