The PS5LED PortaStudio Portable Photo Studio with LED Lighting from MyStudio is a compact, portable photo studio designed for small-scale tabletop photography. It features a flexible, single-piece 24 x 60" white background that wraps around the product from top to bottom, producing a seamless infinity background without compromising shooting angles. The PS5LED features continuous 5000K daylight-balanced LED lighting, which provides soft, cool, and accurate light. Two 9 x 12" bounce cards are included to shape and redirect light when needed.

A: No, the Impact Luxbanx Small Octagonal Softbox attaches to lights using a speedring. The Impact 4 Socket Fluorescent Fixture does not work with speedrings. There are two dedicated softboxes that work with it.Impact 50 x 70 cm Softbox for Fluorescent Fixtures B&H # IMFFSB70 MFR # FF-SB70 and Impact 50 x 50 cm Softbox for Fluorescent Fixtures B&H # IMFFSB50 MFR # FF-SB50.

A: Unfortunately, no, the Impact 4 Socket Fluorescent Fixture is not compatible for use with Bowens-mount softboxes. The Impact Softbox for Fluorescent Fixtures (20 x 27.5"), B&H # IMFFSB70, would be the dedicated softbox compatible for use with the Impact 4 Socket Fluorescent Fixture. The Impact 4 Socket Fluorescent Fixture cannot use Bowens speed ring adapters.

A: The LED in this kit are not compatible with a inline dimmer.

Q: 9. Can you attach a Flotone background to the frame?

A: Fluorescent bulbs. You can use tungsten, they will just get a lot hotter and have a different color (more yellow) than the Fluorescent. You can use brighter bulbs than the one's that are supplied too.

The size is perfect for my needs, just be aware that the versatility gained by the increased size of the MS32 may create storage issues for some. Not an issue for me since I have dedicated space and don’t envision breaking it down for storage. The light-stand legs have some sway, which was mostly eliminated by placing something heavy over the feet (a partial bag of lead shot on each foot was perfect). I would have preferred that the light reflector was one-piece instead of two (joined by tape), but I assume that was to accommodate shipping. Certainly not a deal breaker. I have only used it a day but can already tell that it’s one of those products that I should have purchased a number of years ago. 5

Could I have spent more and gotten the bigger MS20 ($220) or MS32 ($400) My Studio kits? Yes. But for the price and what you get, the PS5 LED is pretty hard to beat. 1. It's easy to put together and the video instructions shared in the paperwork were a huge help. 2. The materials are sturdy. Plastic rails are not flimsy. The LED light is encased in a solid unit and the diffuser tubes are equally solid. The clips that hold it in place along the cross-bar are solid. Everything about this inspired confidence in transporting and using. 3. The sweep itself is a heavy-duty, easy to wipe clean plastic. 4. Electric chords are well-insulated and solid. Not at all flimsy. 5. Included with the kit were some tips on shooting using the LED lights with suggested exposure settings which were helpful. Do I now want the MS32 for larger items? Yes. Would I consider buying it? Absolutely. The My Studio products are clearly made to be used, and the customer service is outstanding. When I was assembling my unit, there was one small metal clamp missing to attach the LED light. I used a zip-tie, called the number listed on the paperwork, left a message, and received a call back from Sean, the owner. He was super friendly, apologized for the missing piece, and dropped a new bracket in the mail. He definitely will have my business in the future, and I couldn't be more happy with the My Studio PS5 setup. 5

Really liked the videos that were available for the MyStudio products. The various setups and resulting shots made it easier to determine which product Id be happy with. The MS32 was the size I thought Id be happiest with for the price, but I also knew I needed the AL1-2 accessory lights, which I did order at the same time. Without the accessory lights, photos do tend to look flatter. And, so far, am getting good shots with minimal experience, so am very happy with it. Got a half sheet of plywood to put on a smaller table and to clamp the unit to. Had to turn the unit diagonal to fit. Should have gotten a longer piece. Cant wait to keep experimenting with it. 5

I purchased this to photograph vitamins and supplements for a new client - absolutely love the set up. The LED lights are bright and evenly light the studio vinyl, and the reflectors provided are of good quality. 5
