Secure the flash better than any shoe mount. works great.

I bought this to use a speed light with a 27" Elinchrom beauty dish which is a bit heavy. The Godox bracket holds the weight of the beauty dish. I wanted to a speedlight as the light source so as to be able to use lower f/stops with the beauty dish close to the subject. It was not possible to reduce the power sufficiently even at the lowest power setting with the Elinchrom 500BRX.

My flashes Canon Speedlite 600 and 430 fits perfectly and safely. It worths the price.

This bracket is available to pair with a few different lighting systems, so pick the one that matches the gear you own. If you are just getting started, the Bowens mount is probably the way to go. It also works well with a simple umbrella.

I recommend these bracket to everyone wanting to use their flash off-camera because hey hold the flash so much more securely than a cold shoe.

When I first bought this I was in need of a speedlite mount for my Godox softbox, I now have a couple. I like the fact that the softbox set up on these is quick and simple, and in addition it allows me to use my umbrellas, or my snoots. I'm an event photographer and my work is mobile,I can't rely upon electricity, therefore all my work is done with speedlites. The only downside is the ratcheting tilting mechanism , and I'm not alone. However,I figured out a 2 second fix,I removed the shoulder bolt and slid the mechanism out. There are two plastic grooved washers, which I removed and replaced with flat metal washers, and put back together;problem solved. I would highly recommend these even if you only using umbrellas it puts the flash at the umbrella center unlike the typical umbrella mount,plus you add if you need to do so.

This bracket allowed me to use my speed light right away. Holds speed light securely and tightens to light stand easily. The speed light I have does not have the correct threads for the light stand I have access to.
As I grow with my skill set, I can buy a soft box and ring to expand the use of this tool over just a plain bracket.

Clever mounting technique has taken some hassle out of using speed lights. Mounting the speed light base to a light stand, then sliding the Speed Light foot into the base, then bringing the flash head forward and then mounting a modifier has always been a rather wobbly practice for me that was inevitably prone to being top heavy. Here a Speed Light is clamped horizontally into a sturdy mount that , in in my case, allows for the mounting of Elinchrom modifiers that I use for my studio lights. No more wobbles.

Before buying this Speedlite Bracket for Elinchrom I asked B&H specifically whether it would be sturdy enough to cope with the weight of two large softboxes (Fotodiox 48 EZ-Pro Deep Parabolic Softbox and 32 Lantern Globe Softbox  with Elinchrom speed-rings) . The brackets on my Elinchrom D-Lites had proven too weak to properly hold the lights in any given tilt position with the added weight of these softboxes, so I was hoping the Godox bracket would enable me to use them with my Nikon and Godox Speedlites. B&H said yes, so I went ahead and ordered two (thank you B&H for a timely reply to my question!). Im happy to confirm that, upon initial tests, the bracket feels sturdy overall and is capable of dealing with the weight. My only caveat would be that I havent used the brackets long enough to comment on their durability, but so far Im happy with this item. By the way, I was also impressed by the general quality of the Fotodiox softboxes, specially when considering their price point.
