Q: 3. When using vintage lenses, is there some cropping going on ? Or does focal distance stays the same?

A: There will be a crop factor of 2x going from a 35mm SLR lens to a MFT digital sensor. All your lens will have an angle-of-view equivalent to double their focal length. For example, a 50mm lens will look approximately 100mm, a 35mm like a 70mm, etc.

Q: 4. How well will this work with an Olympus OM-D E-M10ii ?

A: Ive only used on my em5 mkII and works great, fast and acure.

Q: 5. does it support autofocus?

Q: 6. Can it be applied on Panasonic G9 with autofocus? Thanks.

A: It definitely works on my G7 and numerous other recent models (GH4/GH5) that many of my Panasonic-shooting friends own so the odds are good.

Q: 7. Can this be use with any lens or just Minolta's? a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/699815-REG/Bower_AB43MD_AB43MD_Micro_Four_Thirds.html/mode/edu target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/699815-REG/Bower_AB43MD_AB43MD_Micro_Four_Thirds.html/mode/edu/a

A: Hey Joe,I have bought this adapter due to having never gotten rid of my Minolta 35mm lenses, and they work well with it. I have not tried any other lens, and assume that the adapter would work with any 'M' marked lens, but I can not be sure. If you can verify that the lens in question worked with a Minolta camera body, then it should work. That's what I know.Mike

Q: 8. Is there an adapter for a Sony e mount lens to be used on an Olympus m4/3 camera?

A: Unfortunately, B&H does not carry an adapter that would enable one to mount an E-mount lens onto a micro four thirds camera, nor am I aware of one existing on the market. The Sony E-mount has a shorter flange focal distance (register) than the micro four thirds mount, so the Sony E-mount lenses are designed to sit closer to the sensor than the micro four thirds mount will allow. So, mounting an E-mount lens onto a micro four thirds body, the lens would lose infinity focus (the ability to focus on objects in the distance).

Q: 9. Will this adapter allow Minolta MD lenses to focus to infinity? What I'm really asking if if the thickness of this adapter is exactly the same as the non-shift ones.

A: Yes this adapter supports focusing to infinity with Minolta MD lenses on Micro Four Thirds cameras. It is not the same thickness at 1.5 (3.81 cm) as the standard adapter at 1.0 (2.54 cm), but maintains infinity focus according to the manufacturer.

Q: 10. Are minolta mc adapters compatable with nikon f mount cameras ?
