The single D.A.S. Event 210A is a powered, full-range, three-way line array module designed for professional live sound reinforcement applications. The speaker features three built-in Class-D amplifiers, providing 360W of power to the two 10" woofers and the 1.5" compression driver that combine to offer a frequency response of 70 Hz to 20 kHz and a peak SPL output of 134 dB. The two 10" woofers use a "twin-band" configuration, where each speaker operates in a specific frequency range. Advanced digital signal processing feeds the mid signal to only one of the two low-frequency drivers, while the other is rolled off. This technique eliminates off-axis interference between the drivers, enabling the Event line arrays to maintain optimal polar and frequency response characteristics throughout the low and low-mid operating ranges. The injected aluminum wave-guide provides a nominal 90º horizontal dispersion.

The rear panel of the speaker offers a line level XLR input and an XLR loop-thru output for connecting additional array modules. The integrated "Easy DSP" utilizes push-button combinations for adjusting the number of array modules. Additionally, there is a down-fill preset button for simplifying long and short throw for down-fill applications. Two on-board limiters protect the electronics and drivers from overload, while an amp cover protects the electronics from the sun and rain.

The ISO-flex painted birch plywood enclosure utilizes two bar handles for ease in transport, while the steel grille provides ample protection to the speaker's drivers. A single array module can be placed on a quality speaker stand, while multiples can be used in a ground-stack configuration. Up to 24 line array modules can be flown for the ultimate in large-scale sound reinforcement deployment. The D.A.S. Event 210A ships with a power cord.

Q: 2. Hi, what is the continuous SPL?

A: 1600 W RMS

Q: 3. The 2 units can be synced and work properly at the same time with blue tooth linked device?

A: Yes you can link two of the HK Polar 12 speakers together with a bluetooth device synced to one of them.

Q: 4. Has anyone used these with SRX828SP subs? Any reports? What’s the ideal sub to 906LA ratio?

A: This is a subjective situation and the answer will be based on the application, size of the room, the style of music, as well as the volume that it will be played at through the system. Please contact us directly by phone or through live chat and give us a bit more information about the application and how the system will be used so we can provide you with the appropriate advice.

Q: 5. Does the Genelec G One come with a mini to pair of RCA cables cable? Thanks!

A: The Genelec G One 2-Way Powered Bookshelf Speaker (White, Single) BH #GEG1BW does not come with RCA cables.

Q: 6. Can a headphone output safely be used as a source? I believe it can particularly with 10 dB attenuation, but there is caution not to use a power amplifier as source.

A: Yes you can use a headphone output as a source. A headphone output is not the same as the speaker output on an amplifier. The speaker output on an amplifier would be used with a passive speaker or passive monitor, not an active monitor like the Genelec G One.

Q: 7. Hi! I love these speakers. They are beautiful and they produce wonderful sound! ...Until I moved them... I used the same mogami gold cables I had when they were on my desk and wall mounted them (using genelec wall mounts) high up almost near the ceiling inside my vocal booth. But now certain bass frequencies are way over pronounced in my booth and I'm experiencing a boomy bass in the lower frequencies that I can't clear up. I know my speakers need to be calibrated in this new configuration, but I'm not sure what to do or what to buy. Can anyone help? Is there software? Is the GLM kit compatible with this model? An audiobook narrator in Atlanta would love your expertise. Thanks in advance!

A: You can try using a bass trap in your booth like B&H # AULBTCHP for example.

Q: 8. Is a big difference between these and mr5 mk3 ? How about power consumption ?

A: The power consumption on the MR524 and MR5mkiii during loud music playback is the same; 90 watts. High's and low's are better reproduced over the MR524 nonetheless.

Q: 9. I'd like to use this to power a Senheiser MKH 416 and attach to Rode Wireless Go II to accomplish a wireless boom mic. Would this work for that purpose?

A: The Audio-Technica AT8531 In-Line Powering Module is not compatible with the Sennheiser MKH416.

Q: 10. Can I order just the battery compartment lid?

A: Unfortunately we do not carry parts for the AT8531. You may contact Audio Technica directly for these issues at parts@atus.com
