The 49-82mm Step-Up Ring from Benro is an aluminum-constructed ring that enables you to adapt a larger 82mm size filter onto a 49mm diameter lens, therefore, many different filter sizes can fit on your lens. On wide-angle lenses, the ring's low-profile prevents any vignetting in the image, and the flat black finish on the ring minimizes reflections, which would cause lens flare as well. Additionally, the knurling on the edge allows you to have a firmer grip of the ring when you're putting it on a lens.

I bought a polarizing filter for my lens Canon 16-35mm 2.8L, and was with the need to use the filter on other lenses with smaller gauge, so I purchase this adapter, and works very well

Sturdy and lets me use my big filters on any lens. What more do you want? Oh, it's made in the USA as well.

Original Hasselblad-filters aren't that easy to come by - and if you do, they're very expensive. With this adapter you can use the filters that you already have in your gear.

No problem attaching to 58mm lens threads and 77mm filters. Recommend purchase of filter wrenches for use in the event ring is overtightened on filter. This is not a criticism of this step-up ring - some filters (especially thin polarizing filters) are simply difficult to grasp when removing from the step-up ring.

Works just as I need it to. It stays on my lens at all times and s perfect for swapping filters between lenses, especially the more expensive filters!

I use the step up ring on my Fuji X100 - you must also have the adaptor ring for the X100 that will make it accept filters. I use 52mm filters already so the step up ring helps and works fine.

Gives me added flexibility in my choice of filters for the day's shooting. Hasn't shown any tendency to stick. I have more expensive brass rings, but this seems to do the job just as well.
